Went to school with a Melody and she was just called Mel which rather spoilt it. I don't like 'son' names unless there's an actual family connection. Melody Belle does sound like a Southern Belle or romance novel heroine.

I like both.

Melody Belle sounds like something you'd have outside the front door.
Jaxon Samuel - Samuel is nice, Jaxon isn't.

I like Jaxon not with with Samuel.

I adore Samuel. Jaxon, no, not even that keen on Jackson personally sorry.

Melody I quite like but agree that Belle just puts the whole name into cutsey name territory.

Jaxon is hideous. Although I do know someone who has a Jacxon, so at least it's not that bad. Melody is nice.

Melody Belle - too cutesy - Melody is lovely but needs a different middle name

Jaxon Samuel - I just don't see the need to misspell names - it makes you come across as illiterate and also it's a bit chavvy not to mention he'd be constantly having to spell his name out for evermore. I'd stick with Samuel

Melody Belle - too many L sounds and very Gone with the Wind wannabe/Southern States (not in a positive way, like "flies a Confederate flag and takes shots at squirrels from the front porch" sort of way).

Jaxon Samuel - Samuel is nice, Jaxon isn't. Even Jackson would be a big improvement.

Samuel is lovely, Jaxon very downmarket.

Jaxon is awful, as is the alternative spelling Jackson.

Not a fan of any of them, but if you like them, go for it!

Jacob very close to my least favourite name ever seen here and that spelling too !

Sorry to agree with others but hate the spelling of Jaxon please spell it correctly.
Your spelling instantly made me think chav. The correct spelling is nice though.

All aboard the Melody Belle! Nice names, but not together. Samuel and Jackson are ok but not Jaxon. Horrible.

Love Melody. But skip the Belle, she will be known as Mel-Bell at school by every 8yo boy.

What is your view of the names Darren and Kevin? Because that is how the next generation will probably view Jaxon/Jackson. They are popular amongst new mums atm, but will date badly.

Samuel is timeless.

I really like Samuel. Melody is ok, Belle is ok, but combined they seem a bit frilly.
