Welsh girl names - Help

We are really struggling with girl names.
It needs to be Welsh but work in Welsh speaking Wales and English speaking Wales and can't have a LL in it.

We have tended to like 'dated' names over current popular ones.

Megan, Bethan, Rhian, Carys etc are all nice but too run of mill.
Siân and Sioned also can't be used and nothing that begins with a T

I do like Alys too but, to me, it’s less of a Welsh name as such and more of a Welsh-style spelling. Some of the others have more to them somehow.

HollsLolls · 15/07/2020 00:20

Lynwen, Elin, Heddwen

Maybe Haf as a middle name

HollsLolls · 15/07/2020 00:23

Eluned is also nice

orangejuicer · 15/07/2020 07:57

Einir is nice too.

Merryn, Bettrys and Marteg aren't welsh girl's names. Marteg is a river.
Enyd is spelt Enid.

Meredyth is spelt Meredith, and as I previously posted is the anglicised version of a boy's name.

Blodwyn is spelt Blodwen. Names that end in -wyn are boys' names. Blodwyn isn't a boy's name.

Iona is welsh. Usually given to girls born in January.

I liked the suggestions of Llinos and Gwenllian when the OP states
"It needs to be Welsh but work in Welsh speaking Wales and English speaking Wales and can't have a LL in it."

ZoyaTheDestroyer · 15/07/2020 13:00

Enyd is spelt Enid

Please pop over and tell my eighty-year-old, Welsh-speaking Great Aunt Enyd, Mike. I'm sure she'll be glad to be corrected.
