It will always be the name of the country so your child’s name won’t have personal feel, more like a nickname.

Not a name, sorry. Just because some celeb used it once doesn't make it OK.

A lady I know has called her daughter that and if she has another she will go for Scotlyn. She’s in the us, and it’s quite a popular name.

Eireann would be a lovely name. I am Irish and think that Ireland sounds a bit silly, I am sorry.
