I recently heard the name Cartier for a girl and I quite like it, just want to hear some opinions on it!! no sugarcoating

it's definitely not at the top of my list but it is on there!! I will obviously when I come to that point of my life use a name that my future partner and I like, but it's nice to know others opinions even if some are rude and not the best aha. Thankyou all though I do appreciate it x

It's not that I'm not a fan of jewellery, I am, I love it. But brands have associations and they might be positive for a while and then become a bit downmarket or unfashionable over time. It's risky.

What about a precious stone or a semi precious stone. Or ''Jewel''.

Actually, what about Cassio after another more modest brand of watch. But short for Cassiopeia the astrological constellation ?? I'm not mocking. I like that.

Oh no OP. Chavtastic name. I do know an Armani slight change of spelling to Amani (as that's how they thought Armani was spelt).

It's a surname derived from old English, like "Carter", as in "one who transports goods". It's also a brand name. Hard pass from me.

Are you quite young, OP? Cartier is very famous. I'm not "into" jewellery but it seems very strange to have never even heard of it.

I don't understand why my age has been mentioned or why it would matter in this situation? Just because I haven't heard of a so called "famous" brand doesn't mean anything. I do not wear jewellery or watches myself. And as for "stepping away from baby name websites" I will not as I enjoy researching names and finding beautiful names that I might use in the future. Thankyou for your opinion:)
