Nina - negative reaction

We called our daughter Nina. Most people reacted very positively. However my brother sent a text saying “the other kids have lovely, classic names. Why name this one after an emergency service siren?”

He has shaken our love for the name.

What do others think of Nina?

It's a really nice name. I would happily have chosen it myself.

Nina is an absolutely beautiful name!

(side note: I work for an emergency service and didn't for a second make the connection between the two..)
