As a first name?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Not keen as a first name but maybe use it as a middle name if you really love it?

weebarra · 05/10/2018 20:48

Yes, my Maclean was shortened to Mac.

MrBull · 05/10/2018 20:48

I don't think it's one of those surnames that have really crossed over into common forenames like
Fraser, Cameron, Lewis etc. I don't like 'mac' names used as first names though. Mackenzie was really popular for a while.

Would work well as a middle name.

YolandiFuckinVisser · 05/10/2018 20:49

Campbell?

PinkCalluna · 05/10/2018 20:50

What on Earth has it got to do with MIL?

MrBull · 05/10/2018 20:50

Also, it kind of reminds me of those dreadful Die Hard films (John McLean often just gets called McLean!)
