Funky middle name for Mary

Hello!

Mary as first name- it's traditional, iconic feminine name, a little austere and old fashioned maybe, so we'd like a really interesting (funky!) middle name to go with it - (also lots of names after Mary sound like a two parter- IE Mary Beth, Mary Kate) nothing biblical we already have that covered

So far we only have three
Mary Alba
Mary Summer
Mary Freya

I also like
Mary Rose
The fact it's a ship makes me smile

Surname is long but very pretty/ girly so we can take something unusual in the middle but shorter is better.

Any more suggestions??

I have a dear friend named Mary Rose, although in her case, Mary Rose is a double first name (just with no hyphen). She's had a little bit of teasing about it, mainly during our teens, as boys would joke about her 'going down'. Yeah, yeah, hilarious. She took it all in her stride though.

I think it's beautiful.

@DieAntword perfect Grin

Love Hero and Hope.
We are now reaching sufficient levels of funkiness...

Someone IRL suggested Elvis but that's a bit too much I think

thingymcthingyface · 05/09/2018 15:17

Does Villette sound like a sanitary product?

MeyMary · 05/09/2018 15:29

Villette sounds like a hair removal product tbh... Maybe because it reminded me of Gillette and Veet? Confused

You might like also Tamsin, Morgan and Rowan (if you like Tegan).

Mary really "goes" with middle names that end in o/an o-sound imo... :)

DesmondSwayne · 05/09/2018 15:29

To me Vilette makes me think of razors, like Gillette.

CAAKE · 05/09/2018 15:36

I like Mary Wren

I also think a double M could be really cool

Mary May
Mary Margaret
Mary Meg
Mary Mia
