Sur-sha or sear-sha?

Some people pronounce saw-ra-ka
Others it's more surra-ka

Except the "ka" sound is more "kha"

But I'm trying to keep it simple

I had a Sorcha in my class at school. She was sorsha but she (and the rest of our class) let our English teacher call her Sorka for 3 years before subtley correcting her

My DDs were obsessed with the film 'Song of the Sea' for a while. I've based my pronunciation on that, which was 'Seer-sha'.

I’m Irish, living in Ireland and any of the Saoirses I know pronounce it ‘Seersha’
