Jadon or Noah?

I'd assume that Jadon was an alternative spelling of Jayden, which is a dreadful name.

i like Noah. I like Jayden. Jadon looks like a misspelling of Jayden so I'm not keen. he's your baby op, ignore us and pick your favourite.

Jadon is like one of those names where they have gone to register the baby as Jaydon at the registrar but can't spell so end up with a makey upper.

Don't do it.

I know that Jadon is actually a legitimate biblical name but it’s going to get mixed up with the Jaiden/Jaidan/Jaydon/Jaidn/Cayden/Brayden name which has a reputation as a very naughty child with Jeremy Kyle parents.

I believe though Jadon is pronounced Jah-don but think it's likely to get pronounced Jaydon with so many around which is a shame.

Jadon is very "chavy " where I live, so Noah is better from my point of view. I'm not keen on Noah either though to be honest

Noah is definitely more classic than Jadon. I know both are old biblical names but Jadon has different connotations because of Jayden which is definitely not a classic name.
So Noah all the way.

I find Noah quite faddy actually and think it’s going to start to fall out of favour and sound dated. I also don’t particularly like the sound of it (like a whiny no).

Jadon would be more interesting and masculine imo. So that would be my choice (if I had to choose)

Yes ideally neither but of the two, noah whilst showing a distinct lack of coming up with anything better, is better than Jadon.

You've time to really give it more thought though. There are loads of noah at school.

If OP is religious and moves in circles where people will know the biblical version of Jadon, it may work.

If she is not she will def get lumped in with the Jaydens/Kaydens. Although tbh society will do that anyway.

Noah is also hugely over used at the moment, such a trendy name.

But as I say, if the OP has strong religious connections she may not mind either being fashionable or Jeremey Kyle'd!

Agree Noah is really faddy and not a fan personally (hums "Who built the Ark?") but it's better than Jadon. As people have said, it just looks like an alternative spelling of Jayden. It's just not worth all the misspelling and mispronunciation.
