Help me decide between two names

Opinions positive and negative will really help as feeling quite stuck......

Eva Rose or Edith Rose

Essentially Eva or Edith since the middle name won't get much of an outing!

I have a preference and DH has his but we do like them both.

Eva is lovely, but there are SOOO many of Evas, Eves, Evies, Evelyns around.

Both nice : Eva prettier but fairly ubiquitous ; Edith more dignified, less well used but not unusual and good NB Edie

Have finally made a decision, thanks again for everyone's thoughts.

So opinions seem fairly split, maybe slightly more in favour of Edith.

I agree with all the comments about Eva including it being a bit too popular and a name slightly of the era (I did laugh when someone mentioned it was the equivalent of my own name being a product of the 80's! )

However we got our toddler to say both names. I don't know why but it just melted me when he said Eva. It sounded right so that's what we've chosen.

Just thought I'd update for anyone who might be interested!
