Opinions positive and negative will really help as feeling quite stuck......

Eva Rose or Edith Rose

Essentially Eva or Edith since the middle name won't get much of an outing!

I have a preference and DH has his but we do like them both.

Thanks!

Eva. Edith a little old-fashioned, I think.

TheWoollybacksWife · 12/07/2017 17:50

Both are very pretty but Edith Rose is my favourite

ilivebythesea · 12/07/2017 18:57

Edith would be my choice, although she's in Despicable Me, isn't she? Lots of girls called Eva, Evie, Eve, Evelyn around at the moment.

BertrandRussell · 12/07/2017 18:58

Edith. Lovely!

Blossomdeary · 12/07/2017 18:59

Edith would be my choice. Lots of Evas around at the moment.

MadameJosephine · 12/07/2017 19:08

Edith, pretty name and not as common as Eva

bridgetreilly · 12/07/2017 19:12

Edith Rose. Lovely name.

DramaAlpaca · 12/07/2017 19:12

Eva. I don't like Edith much, I'm not keen on 'granny chic' names really. I like Edie though.

ASDismynormality · 12/07/2017 19:13

I would choose Edith just because Eva is very popular. Rose is also probably the most popular middle name so that would sway me towards Edith too.

ASDismynormality · 12/07/2017 19:14

As above I love Edie too, would use it as a nickname for Edith.

Laniakea · 12/07/2017 19:18

Edith by far. Eva is so over done.

2ducks2ducklings · 12/07/2017 19:19

Definitely Edith. It's a lovely name.

Onedaysoooon · 12/07/2017 19:19

Eva

Dweet1259 · 12/07/2017 19:21

My option for a DD (I had a DS!) was Edie Rose, so classy I loved it!

missyB1 · 12/07/2017 19:23

Edith for definite, Eva is over popular at the moment.

BraveBear · 12/07/2017 19:24

I like Edith, but I don't like Edie - which I think is what the majority of parents seem to be thinking of when they pick the name. My house is two buildings from the local primary school and I hear "Eeeeedeeeeee" most days round school run time, so it must be pretty popular.

So if you want her to be known as Edith, yes. Otherwise I prefer Eva.

MajesticWhine · 12/07/2017 19:25

Edith definitely.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 12/07/2017 19:46

100% Eva Rose.

Susiethetortoiseshellcat · 12/07/2017 20:24

Edith. Mainly because I like the nn Edie but not Evie.

glasshalfsomething · 12/07/2017 20:25

Love Edith!

Synecdoche · 12/07/2017 20:25

I'm the same as Susie ^^

I love Edith/Edie

Glumglowworm · 12/07/2017 20:26

Eva Rose

Scrumpington · 12/07/2017 20:27

I like Eva and I like Edie.

But I do not like Edith. Granny un-chic in my book.

ImSoUnoriginal · 12/07/2017 20:28

Prefer Edith but don't like nn Edie. I used to like all the Eve variations but as pp have said, it's now way to popular.

Rainybo · 12/07/2017 20:29

Edith with Edie as a shortening. I'm not keen on Eva.
