Thank you ☺️

My other son is named Blue, so I am not alien to the idea of people not liking the names we pick!

Of the two, I prefer Forest. Falcon seems a bit too try-hard, like it's trying to sound like a superhero.
I'd still be a bit WTF about Forest, I'm afraid, but it's better than Falcon.

EmmaC78 · 01/07/2017 19:27

I dislike both but of the two I would pick forest.

I always try to think of what my thoughts would be if I saw a name on a CV when I was recruiting someone and I would think both of those are a bit odd.

Thing being, there is no point in asking anonymously on the internet, if you don't want people to be honest.
If you want people to all say nice things, then ask someone close to you who will try hard not to upset your feelings. If you really want to know what "the public at large" are actually thinking, then ask on an anon internet forum.

I'm with the majority. Don't like either.

Eh, I haven't moaned??

Jesus, neither - it's a baby human not a lodge at center parcs 😒

QuestionARhino · 01/07/2017 19:41

I can't get on with Falcon. I'd lean towards Forest personally. But like neither because I know of a dickwad called Forest and for me that always auto-vetoes a name Grin

ineedamoreadultieradult · 01/07/2017 19:43

I think Forest goes better with Blue

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 01/07/2017 20:09

Yes, Forest.

shockshockhorror · 01/07/2017 20:11

I love Forrest. I wanted it for DS. Go for it, it's a beautiful, soft, nature inspired name.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 01/07/2017 20:14

Both lovely for a cat.

Giantwhoopsie · 01/07/2017 20:16

Forest! Love it. I have an Autumn :)

Screamer1 · 01/07/2017 20:17

Isn't forest Whittaker an actor?

I think with all these things people make it their own. It's a bit out there, but I'm sure if any of you had a friend called forest you'd think it was totally fine. Falcon a bit less so.

Viewofhedges · 01/07/2017 20:19

If you call someone falcon you can almost guarantee that they will have the opposite attributes of a fast, ferocious bird of prey. I really wouldn't.

titsbumfannythelot · 01/07/2017 20:20

Didn't you watch gladiators?

In the nicest way possible op, no to either.

Fairenuff · 01/07/2017 20:23

But won't he be saddled with 'Run, Forest, run'? Surely you don't want that for your child?

Figaro2017 · 01/07/2017 20:24

Captain Scott's middle name was Falcon.

No wonder he fucked off to the Antarctic.

villainousbroodmare · 01/07/2017 20:24

Both dire imo, sorry. If they were the last two names in the world, then Forest.

Screamer1 · 01/07/2017 20:25

Doesn't almost every name has a potential teasing element if you try though?

Screamer1 · 01/07/2017 20:25
  • have not has
Amee1992x · 01/07/2017 20:26

Prefer forest, don't like falcon

Fairenuff · 01/07/2017 20:26

I don't think so.

FartnissEverbeans · 01/07/2017 20:27

I think Forest is lovely actually but I'd be put off by the 'run, Forrest' thing. That association isn't going anywhere unfortunately

bugaboo218 · 01/07/2017 20:40

Ridiculous names! You may as well place a sign on your child's head when they get to school that says come and tease me!
