The middle name will be Dawn after my Nan
Choices are

Alice
Emmy
Leni
Thanks I'm worried about comments if I have Maggie!!

All lovely! I've just had an Alice. Did think about Margaret/ Maggie. Thatcher put me off in the end though.

hayser33 · 14/06/2017 19:14

My other children are called Lucy Jude and Katy so also which name goes better

I think Maggie is a beautiful name and very cool. Go for the name you love. People will associate it with your daughter so quickly and if they say anything negative they are rude.

Gunpowder · 14/06/2017 19:16

I think they all go with your other DC's names except for Leni.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 14/06/2017 19:17

Maggie is great.

Or what about Peggy?

MrsD79 · 14/06/2017 19:22

Maggie.

Danny?

jmscp2015 · 14/06/2017 19:24

I love Maggie Smile

hayser33 · 14/06/2017 19:30

Quite like Peggy also Danny is nice I do like a unisex name which is why I thought of Leni . Will likely have Maggie as you all seem to like it Smile

I like Alice Dawn.
Maggie is nice too.😀

Biscuitsneeded · 14/06/2017 19:33

Maggie is nice. Don't let a horrible woman spoil a perfectly good name!

hayser33 · 14/06/2017 19:34

I hadent even thought if Thatcher i must admit lol Confused

Emmy is my favourite but I think Alice goes best with your other DCs names :)

magbob · 14/06/2017 19:38

I have a Maggie and no-one has been negative. I secretly love that if her name is called, for example in a doctor's surgery, people expect to see a 70 year old! Her only quibble is that people assume she is called Maddie because that is more common for a teenager

FloralTribute · 14/06/2017 19:42

Lenin makes me think of goose-stepping Hitler Youth singing the Horst-Wessel Lied, unfortunately, Grin but interestingly, Maggie doesn't have Thatcher connotations for me -- I really like it.

Bestseller2017 · 14/06/2017 19:45

Alice Dawn is lovely.

VinIsGroot · 14/06/2017 19:47

Emily is preferable

MiniAlphaBravo · 14/06/2017 19:47

I think Alice Dawn is really beautiful and goes well with your other lovely names. I do think thatcher sadly when I hear Maggie 😔

I also had Agnes on my list then you could have Aggie if you liked that. I still prefer Alice though.Smile

hayser33 · 14/06/2017 19:52

Hard to decide Alice Dawn is nice isint it i just thought Maggie is different

Sophronia · 14/06/2017 19:57

Maggie Dawn.

AfunaMbatata · 14/06/2017 19:59

Maggie reminds me of maggots too much, the other names are lovely though.

Mulch · 14/06/2017 20:00

Maggie as a nickname for Margaret or magdelena? Just seems abit lacking for a first name

hayser33 · 14/06/2017 20:04

Just Maggie as not overly keen on Margaret and we would never call her that and Magdalena is too long as other children names are only 4 letters so didn't wany anything too long

QuietNinjaTardis · 14/06/2017 20:08

I like Maggie as a stand alone name and Maggie Dawn sounds really nice, but unusual in the combo. Go for it.

SirNiallDementia · 14/06/2017 20:17

I like all the names on your list but Maggie is my favourite!

If you and your family like Maggie, just use it!

Asmoto · 14/06/2017 20:19

Plenty of other associations besides Thatcher, so if you like Maggie, then go for it.
