We have spent most of the day looking at, discussing and playing around with our LONG list of names and think we may have narrowed it down to Otis and Cosima!!!!!

So what do you think....

Eli, Aphra & Otis

Eli, Aphra & Cosima

Have you been watching orphan black?

Sophronia · 26/02/2017 22:32

Very nice, and they go well with the siblings names

EggsEleven · 26/02/2017 22:36

Otis.

I don't like Cosima at all and don't think it goes with the siblings names either

JanuaryJuniper · 26/02/2017 22:51

What is Orphan Black never heard of it?

I love both! Also love Eli and Aphra so we obviously have similar taste. Our DS1 was very nearly Otis and Cosima will be high on our list if we ever have a DD.

TheoriginalLEM · 26/02/2017 23:49

I love Otis. Not so sure about Cosima if I'm honest. It sounds made up. I think I'd like it if it was a name in a different culture if that makes sense.

olderthanyouthink · 26/02/2017 23:54

I loooooove Cosima (and Orphan Black -the tv show).

Nospringflower · 27/02/2017 00:12

I think they sound great together!

DramaAlpaca · 27/02/2017 00:14

They go very well together.

Lucked · 27/02/2017 00:16

Yeah I hadn't heard of Cosima until Orphan Black although it makes sense with cosimo as the boys name.

Our familiy isn't cool enough for those names but I think they are really nice.

WanderingTrolley1 · 27/02/2017 00:18

Otis.

JanuaryJuniper · 27/02/2017 00:18

Yeaaah nice to hear some positive comments, it's taken quite a bit of deliberation to get here ( and we haven't even sorted middle names)

Myself and dh are pronouncing Cosima as Coz eem ah......is that correct?

OP posts:
AdaColeman · 27/02/2017 00:18

Cosima is fab, and makes a good sib-set.

Not at all keen on Otis and don't think it goes with your other names.

(Really love Aphra!)

JanuaryJuniper · 27/02/2017 00:21

Or should it be Cos ee mah we like it either way, though it would seem that Coz eem ah is the correct pronunciation

OP posts:
IHeartKingThistle · 27/02/2017 00:25

I assumed the stress was on the first syllable: CO-sim-ah. But I could be wrong!

JanuaryJuniper · 27/02/2017 01:06

Ok the more I research Cosima the more pronunciations I'm finding...

Cos ee mah
Cozy mah
Co zeem ah ?????

I love Cosima. Otis is a bit ubiquitous nowadays and I don't think it's as interesting as your other names.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 27/02/2017 10:02

Cosima is fab ! Your names go very well together.

Ellarose85 · 27/02/2017 13:19

I love Otis, I really wanted it for DS but DP didn't like it sob if I have another boy, I will have my way Wink

Rockaby · 27/02/2017 19:04

Love Otis and your other DCs' names, but I'm not keen on Cosima.

chatnanny · 27/02/2017 19:07

I love Cosima, my DD was going to call her baby that but it was a boy! It's just phonetic isn't it cos- i (as in if) - may as in mother? Nigella Lawson has a Cosima I believe.

reuset · 28/02/2017 00:16

I like them both. Cosima is a breath of fresh air.

mathanxiety · 28/02/2017 04:56

Brilliant names whether boy or girl.
