Brekken and?

We have a son named Brekken, so we like unusual names. Brekken is a lovely village in Norway (not where we got his name from) but it's unusual, but still pronounceable. That's what we're looking for, any ideas?

Soren is a great name. Soren Laurenson from Charlie and Lola is fab.

Seren for a girl?

missymousey · 01/12/2016 19:11

Someone suggested Moss - I love that!

Heron
Quetzal
Fleance
Shackleton
Tostig
Leif

What about Laggan? It's a village in the Scottish highlands or Lagan, the river through Belfast?

GiveMyHeadPeaceffs · 01/12/2016 19:19

Oh and I have a Søren Grin

SloanePeterson · 01/12/2016 19:23

The name that comes to mind to go with Brekken is Heath. Love it.

Hamsolo · 01/12/2016 19:33

I think Brekken Jeath sounds like a place. How about a different place name from another country like Marais or Germain (both in Paris).

Justwhy · 01/12/2016 19:37

What a nasty bunch of comments about a baby. It's like the little gang at school who think it's fun to make someone else feel bad.

Brekken is the chosen name. That wasn't the OP. I think Heath is fab. Strong and simple.

I think Milo.

Brekken is a wee cutie, OP!
I'd like to suggest Nairn for another boy, it's a place in Scotland. I think it goes nicely with Brekken.

OSETmum · 01/12/2016 19:39

Kirby. I saw a girl called Kirby in Canada but I think it works as a boy's name too.

SeashellHoarder · 01/12/2016 19:48

I like the suggestion up thread of Leif. Goes nicely with brekken.

Leif the lucky was a famous Viking who discovered north America (so they say)

Ellieboolou27 · 01/12/2016 19:51

I like brekken, it's not so outlandish and I think the op has been very gracious in her responses to some mean bitchy comments made.
Depends on if your having another boy op, do you know???
I really like Seren for a girl and Dexter for a boy

pestov · 01/12/2016 19:59

It's unusual, but still pronounceable.

Barley
Maddox
Tuppence
Lysander
Bo
Prosper
Heavenly
Chilli
Peach
Merlin

I think Leif or Heath would be lovely Smile

thedragonflyinn · 01/12/2016 20:09

Lachlan goes well with Brekken, I think.

And your little boy is lovely OP Smile

AlwaysWashing · 01/12/2016 20:17

Bramley
Willoughby
Corran

UnbornMortificado · 01/12/2016 20:21

It's a lovely name. People are fucking rude about names on here.

To be fair you won't have got the piss took out of any name which isn't the mn norm.

He's lush and congratulations on your pregnancy.

BonusNewt · 01/12/2016 20:29

I like the suggestion of Soren and will raise it to Sorensen, although maybe you wouldn't want two names ending in"en".

raviolidreaming · 01/12/2016 20:57

I like the sound of Brekken

Me too and, even if it's not for everyone, those listing Ikea furniture are just being spiteful.

ageingrunner · 01/12/2016 20:58

Magnus

Blossomdeary · 01/12/2016 21:15

Bognor?

Level75 · 01/12/2016 22:32

I love Soren. Tuppence (suggested above) is what some people I know call their vaginas, so maybe skip that one!
