Love Ivy.

Think Mae as a middle name is done to death and a bit tacky.

AnnaAva · 19/09/2016 17:54

Oh, tacky!?

I love ivy
But not the Mae bit at all!!

How about Ivy Willow
Ivy Leigh
Ivy Rose

pugsake · 19/09/2016 17:56

I think it's lovely. All names my way seem too be something-rose. Including my niece.

As long as you like it, it shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks.

AnnaAva · 19/09/2016 17:57

I like Rose, but then it's very floral!

I agree with PPs, Ivy is lovely but not with Mae.

pugsake · 19/09/2016 18:01

Are you wanting a hyphenated name or two separates?

Bertieboo1 · 19/09/2016 18:01

Love Ivy.

Ivy Juliet
Ivy Grace
Ivy Georgia
Ivy Helena

Ivy Holly (sorry couldn't resist) Wink

EssentialHummus · 19/09/2016 18:03

I rather like it. Wouldn't hyphenate.

AnnaAva · 19/09/2016 18:04

Ivy would be the first name.
Mae would be the middle name.

Ivy Skye
Ivy Raine

Popular in my family. Not too everyone's taste though.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 19/09/2016 18:07

Nice name but surely the Mae middle name obsession is over now.

CurlyhairedAssassin · 19/09/2016 18:07

As others have said middle name of Mae is a bit tacky and common (in the literal sense of the word). Everybody seems to be giving their daughter Mae as a middle name. Ivy is so different so it kind of spoils it to put it with a name like Mae. It's like giving someone the name Evangeline Karen or something.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 19/09/2016 18:09

Ivy Pearl
Ivy Terese
Ivy Elise
Ivy Kate
Ivy Monet
Ivy Sophia
Ivy Celeste

AnnaAva · 19/09/2016 18:10

I just liked it... I didn't realise it was popular.

It's our first child, so we aren't ever around small children.

Lilacpink40 · 19/09/2016 18:17

If you like it though go for it. Your decision ☺

Kennington · 19/09/2016 18:17

Ivy is lovely

Am not keen on the Mae bit but that is probably because no one else is!

pugsake · 19/09/2016 18:17
