Weirdly I have heard Atticus being shouted in local parks a LOT over the last two years! There must be a lot of them round here!

Atticus is in the top 10 for the year so far... I saw it in Facebook so it must be right!

If I could say 'S' properly, Saul would be my go-to familiar but not overly used name.

DS is Hugh - nice solid name, well known but hardly any other children seem to be named it! To me at least it doesn't seem as try hard as Hugo.

I think it really depends where you live. We're in Scotland so I know quite a few boys called things like Hector, Gregory, Duncan, Grant, Fergus, Rory, Euan, Blair - go to Oxfordshire or Cornwall and there are probably very few.

On the other hand, I've never come across a Rupert or Guy north of the border.

And as for Tyger - just don't.

Scone Hugh is a lovely, lovely name- very underused (though we have a fair few Huws here in Wales.) Hugh always makes me think of lovely smiley men :)

MiniMover · 13/04/2016 12:38

Ha, Guerre, ds1 has 4 boys in his class from your list and ds2 has 2.
