Word Names, non mainstream

I think we have decided on our forthcoming baby's name, but in case I have overlooked something, I am keen to hear any unusual but usable word name names. Not the mainstream ones like Grace, Lily, Ruby, Jasper, Matt and Johnny, but the less pedestrian - e.g. Sailor, Cadence, Calypso, Journey, Phoenix etc.

Boys and Girls please!

Thanks, pp. Like two, not keen on Scarlet - too coloury, and NN Scar doesn't thrill me.
Caleb is biblical (which I hate) and not a word name anyway, but thanks! :)

I love Huckleberry, Madam, the NNs Huck, Hux, and Berry are super. But the meaning is a bit meh (sweet berry) - I like a bit more meaning than that.

I am liking Geronimo a lot.

Archer or Hunter for boys.
I know a Calypso and she is lovely and I think its a beautiful name... also a Zinna which is very unusual I think

We are more gatherers than hunters in this family. Grin

I absolutely do love the look and feel of Calypso, but not so much the meaning.

Calabria, warm and vibrant with lots of possibitities for NNs.
Meander, a gentle and restful name.
Timpano, would suit a boisterous cheeful child, Pano for a NN.

Calabria - sounds nice indeed, but it's just a place name? I need more meaning!
Meander is not bad, but not wowing me.
Timpano - eardrum? Not a good meaning!

BUT, I love your thinking outside the box, and thank you very much for your effort there!
