Hi this is my first baby and I've been unsure on names since day 1!!

These two have stuck with me for a while all though I do keep going on and off both! I don't have a middle name for Mason yet, as I can't think of any, so ideas are welcome!

But I do like it and Jayden Lee isn't a double barrelled name or anything he'll just be called Jayden, but I just like the sound of lee with it :)

What do you think, I wasn't too sure if these were 'chavvy' or 'common' names !

everlong I'm always being ironic about the whole baby names thing. I love commenting on baby names, its antagonistic i know and immense fun. But really, never take me seriously fgs!

To everyone expecting, A new baby is YOUR little human being, the life YOU made. Names are the least important part. Its essential you love him or her to the very moon and back, cuddle them to absolute pieces. Never let them go. But call them what you like Grin

I'm barely aware of what day it is but I seem to know the name of every celebrity child in the world. Combined with basing my liking of names on whether I've had a good experience -

Jayden = lovely lad.

Mason = Kardashian.

ouryve · 27/03/2014 10:42

Mason is a much nicer name.

Aah but that would take the fun out of it, wouldn't it Wink Grin

figgieroll · 29/03/2014 06:37

Leon?

Jago?

tilbatilba · 29/03/2014 07:01

Both awful

elQuintoConyo · 29/03/2014 07:16

We called DS a dog's name, apparently. No doubt he'll do badly at school and meet a high court judge many at time in his life. Obviously from the wrong part of the courtroom.
Call him what you like. Just don't be an ass and post 'n' run Smile

Fwiw our surname is D o v e r and we really loved the name Ben. T'wasn't to be.

I prefer Mason

Jake is also nice - nn Jay

Mason James

Mason Andrew

Matthew - nn Matt is a classic

GirlsonFilm · 29/03/2014 22:11

Both hideous

Sharaluck · 29/03/2014 22:17

Mason

Tranquilitybaby · 29/03/2014 23:26

Unfortunately, Lee or Leigh as a middle name sounds quite chavvy nowadays it seems.

I prefer Jayden out of your two choices but without the Lee

Ilikepancakes · 30/03/2014 18:36

I'm sorry but Jayden sounds made-up and like he would be trouble at school. I like Mason Lee and maybe Jason Lee?

Selectausername,

Colin Voldemort. Now that's a name.

BuddyButters · 30/03/2014 20:13

They're both hideously chivvy. I don't care of that makes me sound snobby. It's not being snobby; it's having standards.

BuddyButters · 30/03/2014 20:14

Chavvy, not chivvy.

Its not snobby, its twatty

MoominsYonisAreScary · 30/03/2014 20:28

Xpost with Derek

BuddyButters · 30/03/2014 20:30

Don't care. All the Jaydens I've known have had #1 skinheads, an earring and 17 year old, 21 stone mothers dripping in Elizabeth Duke jewellery and fake Uggs.

Like it or not certain names do summon a certain mental image.
