Hermione I suppose. Though I don't really think it's posh, just unusual. No nickname though! I intend to use it one day Grin

Montgomery for a boy nn Monty. Think it might be asking to too much of OH to agree to that as well as Hermione though Sad

Dontbesodramatic · 22/11/2012 13:28

Ever long-Grin

Butterfly1975 · 22/11/2012 13:47

Another one for Montague (Monty) for a boy. I also had Sebastian, Rufus and Hugo on my list which DH said were too posh!

Not so keen on posh sounding girls names myself although my old Headmistress was called Perdita which is quite posh and I do like that name Smile

MyLastDuchess · 22/11/2012 15:11

My friend's brother is called Digby Hmm

BonaDea · 22/11/2012 15:23

Camilla
Sebastian

Both vetoed (we'll see about that)

ScooseIsOnTheLoose · 22/11/2012 15:24

Persephone!

foofooyeah · 22/11/2012 15:30

I cant even say it but

Scheherazade

Like Cosmo for a boy

CatKitson · 22/11/2012 15:34

Arlo isnt posh is it?

Alisvolatpropiis · 22/11/2012 15:34

*foo

I like Sherazade too but cannot for the life of me say it properly Blush

Alisvolatpropiis · 22/11/2012 15:35

Can't spell it either apparently Grin

Corygal · 22/11/2012 15:37

It's pronounced Shez-raid. I was at school with Ms Goldsmith, see.

I ache for Inigo but I just couldn't do it to a babe.

MadameCastafiore · 22/11/2012 15:39

Jacinta is a cool posh name.

goralka · 22/11/2012 15:40

are you sure about Shez-raid?
i thought it was sheh-hera-zard?

foofooyeah · 22/11/2012 15:42

Ooooo Corygal ... its got to sound better than Shez-raid ?? surely

My dreams are dashed

Do like Inigo though - but agree how much ribbing would child get.

CatKitson · 22/11/2012 15:43

Isnt it pronounced She-hare-ah-za-day?

ExitPursuedByMarieAntoinette · 22/11/2012 15:47

Sheh-hera-zard surely?

I have a Cordelia (middle name).

I like Calypso.

MrsBungleBear · 22/11/2012 15:49

I am not a fan of most posh names but I very much like Raef (is it spelt like this or is it spelt Ralph and pronouned Raef? See, I am not posh) and Camilla and Cordelia

MacaroniAndWalnut · 22/11/2012 15:57

All the posh people I know are called William, Elizabeth, Edward Charlotte etc. it seems really posh people have no imagination whatsoever

Poppy03 · 22/11/2012 16:41

I love Edward, but dislike "Eddie" - is there another nn for Edward??

Poppy03 · 22/11/2012 16:42
