Babyname wizard seems an American site. If you look here this is more official

Fourth one down lists the historical statistics. For those who wanted to know Chloe was at no.97 in 1984!

Thanks - wow, that is a huge leap in a year. Just shows it is so hard to predict what will becme popular!

RillaBlythe · 17/08/2012 19:24

Boyfallingoutofthesky, I think that Chloe has quoted a stat about Chloe's popularity in te US (from babybamewizard which is an American only site), alfieandannierose is giving the stat for the UK! So it's not an increase in the same country from 852 to 97!

Just in case anyone is interested, here is a compilation of all the hyphenated names from last year in England and Wales: www.britishbabynames.com/blog/2012/08/hyphen-names.html.

Slightly upset that we have saddled DD (born 2011) with the commonest name that year but in our defence she was a January baby so we set the trend rather than following it. Don't yet know any other Amelias born in 2011 or any other year...

Yet again DS'sname doesn't feature and the alternative spelling of it is joint 1,688th with 13 uses, so it's in no risk of becoming comon!
