I love Amy and Faye. Both are simple but feminine.

androbbob · 24/07/2011 20:27

I vote Louisa

SheCutOffTheirTails · 24/07/2011 20:32

I like Louisa too - unusual but a name everyone knows.

z123 · 24/07/2011 20:33

They will be about 8 before they can spell Saoirse, plus will have to spell it over the phone for the rest of their life, plus tell most people how to pronounce it!!!!

Love Louisa, Roslaie, Faye, Amy.

Hassled · 24/07/2011 20:36

Caitlin is my favourite. Also like Louisa and Rosanna. Hate Faye. Tierney sounds like a surname.

stardustn · 24/07/2011 20:39

Yes z123 that's the only thing putting me off Saoirse- the pronounciation and spelling. I've grown up with a name that everyone constantly mispronounces so I'm keen for my children to have names that are easy to pronounce. I think Saoirse might be limited to middle name only usage because of this :(

Louisa. Very cute and can be "grown into" for a beautiful adult name Smile
Rosanna - I have an aunt with this name. Not a good association

ChocChipWine · 24/07/2011 20:42

Caitlin - no
Rosanna - nice
Rosalie - no
Louisa - love it
Tierney - yuck!
Saoirse - too complicated
Kristen - yuck
Amy - lovely and classic
Chloe - really nice
Faye - old lady

razzlebathbone · 24/07/2011 20:51

My niece is Tierney. I've never heard anyone else suggesting it before, let alone meeting or hearing of any others. I think it is really a surname. I'd put it in with names like Harper. Nice looking masculine sort of girls' name. It's certainly the most unusual on the list!

HavePatience · 24/07/2011 20:56

I knew a Tierney growing up. Never thought of it as a surname

Ivortheengine8 · 24/07/2011 21:00

Caitlin - not much
Rosanna - yes, I like :)
Rosalie - not much
Louisa - yes
Tierney - no
Saoirse - no
Kristen - ok
Amy - ok
Chloe - ok
Faye - na
