Found 'the one' - and it's not Beauden [grin]

Hi everyone,

Well, after a few days of constant name games, me and dh are sorted. Thanks to everyone's help we have decided not to go with Beauden after the BAD reaction on here. Or Indigo or Lyric or Soren. Lots of you still will hate our choices but I think you know when you have decided because you don't care less anymore what others think (in a nice way).

Soooo. our final choices are:

Girl: Sonnet Melody
Boy: Winter Beau Alexander.

See, I still have my Beau in there .

I think these fit in really well with our other dc. The only big problem is that we have an Autumn so it may well sound contrived. But they aren't going to be joined at the hip and will have their own identities.

One last favour!!!

Can anyone suggest a nice third name to go with Sonnet Melody? (Our other three have all got two middle names so I want to do the same).

Was thinking perhaps:

Sonnet Melody Grace
Sonnet Melody Eve
Sonnet Melody Erin

Want a classic name she can fall back on if she hates her other two names.

OP Winter is a very respectable Jersey name for a boy/man. Mostly old men here called Winter, but a fair few. Tis not so different form Noel.........so if you live near France goferrit

Who knows, Jem could take over in the next few days (if baby Cypress doesn't arrive )

Although, yummytummy - you are a spanner in the works - do still like Winter. But unfortunately we have been vetoed in style.

Cypress or Sonnet is due to arrive with us on the 28th (my birthday) but is very likely to come early. Scared silly as it is a very high-risk birth for both of us ... but that's another story. Anyhow, will see how this thread gets on and when it reaches a conclusion I will leave you lovely people in peace with a promise that I will keep you posted about baby with name when it happens.

Cypress is ok. I like Winter but not with Autumn.

PatriciaHolm - I could curse you, but thank you for pointing out that the cypress tree is associated with cemeteries and funerals . How can I possibly purposely chose Cypress now for my little bundle when I have all the names in the world to choose from. That would even seem more crazy than Winter -imo.

Not good and now the name Cypress is making me sad. AAAhhhh! My bath is damn cold now after all that googling about damn cypress trees. Don't know what to think now.

I love Jem and Beau but you couldn't have Jem Beau Alexander as it would sound like Jimbo. And Beau Jem has initials BJ which is a no no!
