incy- I won't leave... i wouldnt have found lovely sites and people like you if I hadn't gone thre... but I find that beadsage is acting abominally.. its not right... yes there were posts by mistake.. and they were aplogized for... the rules have been read... and re read.. there is nothing saying you cannot have a friendly chat... or have I missed something?

I thought it was a good place.. and I feel quite upset by beadsage's behaviour.... right going to go make tea now... DS very tired DH is crabby... and I'm exausted...

meri, i agree, i feel quite shocked by his behaviour, his posts today reflect very badly on that site as a whole imo.

jg, i read you post on there, very well put, even though it may be your last

if ds (or dh for that matter!) had behaved like that, he'd be on the naughty step!

thanks LK probably will be. I just don't understand how he can get away with that, unless he actually owns the place...I've never experienced such unpleasant "online etiquette" as he so nicely puts it, in my life

I read the posts and have to agree with beadsage as it sort of reads like this..

Ever been to a party which you know every body then 5 people turn up who its seems no one really knows and those 5 peeps talk amonst themselves.. You over hear how the dislike this or would do things differently and how the carpet isn't nice, I can't find the fridge etc.. hehee..

Let us get to know you and get to know us...

Yes the non related / living room is about chatting but isn't designed to be like msn or other chat sites.. Sorry that the way I like it and so does the community...

I hope you stick around and look forward to seeing some of your crafts

Don't think I can be bothered with it all to be honest. He seemed like a decent enough friendly chap . Yes several people joined at around the same time - hardly makes us a 'gang' worth singling out! I quite liked the idea of lots of crafts together but there didn't seem to be too much beady stuff going on - may well just stick to beady forums

lucykate can i have a virtual vodka and coke please? i'm quite as beadsage has just given me an "official" warning
i have no idea what i did wrong - i just started a new thread called general chat in the general chatting area.

hello... I'.m babysitting for frizbe tonight and there is sod all on tv so I thought I would have potter around mn...

I feel quite disappointed and dishearted about the whole crafts forum thing.... will resolve to not talk about it...

I have no new blog posts but I did paint 6 pages earlier today, I will blog them tommrow....

I don't really drink but I will share in a virtual one with everyone and try to forget all the recent unpleasantness in the crafts forum...

i hope he's going to be issuing himself with a warning too given that he was very trigger happy quick to point out that it was a craft forum for craft chat only, then he went and started a thread about garbage motorbikes.

lk- pmsl .. true very true and very hypocritical as well... that is one of my biggest pet peeves... being a hypocrit... right up there with chewing food with an opoen mouth, and talking with a mouth full of food...

oi and for that matter i will add people that don't share ice cream/chocolate!

lol.... and my typing is degenerating at a rapid pace... must have caffien soon or perish...

I'm not going to mention that other place either. I wish I could work out how to unsubscribe.
Anyway I thought I'd share a little funny frmt he weekend to ligthen the atmosphere - me & DH decided to have a Gordon Ramsay cooking evening on Sat & for pud made this scrummy pud DH got out his trusty blowtorch to caramalise the sugar on the top & promptly set off the smoke alarm! Gordon never does that !

I'm rather chuffed too now as I have practically finished assignment no. 2 on my course a little ahead of schedule

well, i still have naughty vv to thank for something. i'm sat here stroking my lovely copy of the richard scarry 'make it' book she told me about, i love, love, love it. it's a 1979, second hand copy and there is only 1 page missing, not bad for a book that literally all the pages are made to be taken out to make something with. ds is wondering what we are going to make first, he's very taken with the paper cars.

that other thread is just too silly for words, how rude.
