hello gm, nice to see you home, good holiday?

i'm lying low today, still in my pj's, kids have done nothing but watch dvd's, i have a migraine and feel like crap! need to be well for friday, am off to the nec.

I don't feel poorly (but I'll still take a muffing ) (That sounded rude ).
Had an interesting day. Bought some gorgeous (strokable) yarn for a baby project. Some wicked fabrics. One for a bag for dd1 and some for a seaside challenge . Then on the way home it went a bit strange (will post link in a mo.)
So as ever I'm buying for and planning more crafting than doing it. Bought a box to put kid swap thingy in and box is too small. GRRRR am so behind with that swap (although it is ready to be sent at least) Poor old swapee maybe receiving a carrier bag wrapped parcel at this rate.........
Good vibes to poorly ones.

Dior - blimey indeed. I now know I'm old though. The PC they sent round looked about 12!! He was lovely though. The kids ran off for a bit and came back down covered in my makeup. Little gits he was killing himself laughing.

I toyed with joining the mounted thection - but I only wanted to ride and not do the polithing bit.

... and when I visit my little brother (he's 38) & he introduthes me to his collegues I thometimes think 'Blimey, have they just left thchool' ?

I've got a very thore mouth as I'm in the last thtages of having a tooth implant. The injections are just wearing off, thumping headache, thore thtitches in my gum and I'm thtarving hungry and can only have thoup.

Can you tell I have lithp - Oh, and a big attractive gap next to my front tooth

Yes it was quite upsetting. But I wasn't prepared to leave it and I'm more than happy to stand up in court. I'm very empassioned about standing up for the 'victim'. In fact I've just been talking to DH and wondering whether I should try and find work in a women's refuge or something. It's just one of those issues that makes my blood boil.
I also considered joining the police force, but I'd be totally wrong for it. I'm too hot-headed and passionate. I'd be taking swings at people left right and centre.
Hope your mouth gets better soon. I had major wisdom teeth removal last year - luckily I lurrrve soup!! (not so keen on searing mouth pain though)

I've made a few more tile pendants - just waiting for them to dry overnight. I think I need some Chinese-y paper with tiny patterns on.....or maybe draw some simple animal shapes.....ponders.....

Misty - what a day! I think it's very hard not to get emotionally involved with jobs like that. I'm bad enough working in a school - I have a soft spot for all the 'bad lads' & hate it when they get into trouble
I'd love to do mentoring but I think I'd take it personally..

Well I was planning to finish these damn curtains tonight - only dd2 announced she had nits (cue 40 mins of combing and washing hair), then dd1 couldn't find her diary (cue another 40 mins spent searching for it )! So I gave up, and did some knitting whilst watching "who do you think you are", lol.

got some fab silk today and a lovely remnant from the fabric shop - may blog tomorrow!

Wonder woman - hmm now there's an outfit you could all make for me in separate parts.... A bit of crochet gold lame pant, some jewellery, bit of cape sewing . . . ..
Vintage - I like the wire thingymubob. I wanted something similar to that a while back to mount on some wood as hangers (for my carrier bags ).

A few people have said that. In all honesty I was concerned for her (very) and really rather annoyedat him . If it goes to court and I'm called as a witness maybe that will be scary, but I won't be put off.
I am very very impressed with our police service though. The young little whippersnapper was on my doorstep within about half an hour of my call. And he was lovely.

Hi everyone, been a bit of a funny day here in the dingle house.....my dad had his car hit outside his house so hubby had to take him up to the police station tonight to produce all his documents....it was hit by the bloke from Lloyds Chemist who was delivering my mum's prescription..mum...didn't see it, dad didn't get out it time and the bloody man didn't even acknowledge the fact he's hit it. There is slight damage to the back but because it's a mobility car it needs to be taken straight back and road tested as it was shunted up the road...poor ol' M&D have to pay out £75 and hope that they get it back.

I have printed some Dottie downloads ready for my Design team work at the weekend...and happily coloured them in but I have lost my mojo this evening....been filling out DD's DLA form...I have done about 9 pages out of about...40ish! I am so drained and feeling so sad...but I knew I would- I hate looking at DD in such a negative way.

Still I am 9 pages closer to getting to blasted form done!!!
