Harmony Test - waiting results

Hello, I had my harmony test done Monday night. I was told the lab in London would receive it by Tuesday night and start working on it and that it would take 10-14 working days to come back.

The wait is horrible. Anyone else recently had them done and had to wait that long for it to come back from London?😭

Give them a ring about 4pm to check, I did lol x

@Missy38 yeah I think I might do. I did mine through a private company called private midwife so apparently when they get the results in the midwife will review it & then call me. Just the wait is so intense especially when I did the blood test on Monday & it doesn’t get to the lab until Tuesday night & so got to count from Wednesday😔

I'm not chasing mine as I always think no news is good news! I always thought they'd come through on Wednesday so still hoping that's the case xx

@MaryShelley1818 I’ve literally just had a call for my results. All low risk & we’re having a boy! They did say to me before that we’d get the results in by 5 but waited till 5:20 & they still weren’t in so they chased it for me & they’ve just called me to say they’ve just got it xx

Eeek I'm so happy for you!! That's fantastic news....awww little boys are so amazing, my DS is the light of my life, my proper little bestie :)

Oooh hopefully I'll hear tomorrow then, I just want a healthy baby, I'll be over the moon with either sex xx

I've now convinced myself that mine is bad news because they haven't emailed the results tonight because they're waiting for someone to call me with the bad news tomorrow 😫😫

@MaryShelley1818 I’ve just seen your last post🙈🙈I literally called them at 5:20pm today & they told me that there may be a delay due to the lab also testing for Covid’s too! But they had only 1/5 tests back when I called them & they were all sent Monday night to the lab & received Tuesday. I told them that I wouldn’t want my results back if they came in tomorrow as I’m working away for 2 days & can’t bare being on my own for 2 nights so will call them on Friday to get the results. The midwife was really good & said she will chase the lab now & get back to me tonight. I went through the private midwives company to get it done. & she literally just called me when I posted tonight. I hope you get yours back tomorrow & it’s good results! I also convinced myself that it would be bad because I didn’t hear from them by 6pm🙈who did you get yours done with?

Thank you, I'm just such an anxious worrier at the best of times!

Went through Ultrasound Direct but I believe the lab just email me direct with the results or ring if it's bad news. I have a study day tomorrow to start my final assignment for my First Year of Uni and not going to be able to concentrate at all xx

I did mine through ultrasound direct @MaryShelley1818 and had a redraw yesterday. It was someone from ultrasound direct who rang me to tell me I needed a redraw. However, by that point, I'd already waited so long for them to contact me that I'd called the lab and they had already told me! I've not been impressed with the service from ultrasound direct at all. Presume I'll have another long wait again now

@MaryShelley1818 my little ones just a bit over 2.5 years. He’s a Christmas Eve baby haha. So when they gave me a due date of valentine day I was like my kids obvs like to be special😂😂

Definitely give them a call tomorrow to see if they’ve had the results. I’m not sure if ultrasound direct only work 9-5 so that’s why you didn’t get them tonight. I presume mine came in around 6:30pm that’s why my midwife called me late tonight.

I’ve been thinking of the worse & literally been so upset since Friday that it’s not come through so I know what you mean! Definitely keep me updated! I have everything crossed for you & hope that you get them first thing in the morning so you don’t have to dread it all day! xx

Bloods taken thur and got a call on the next tuesday, so 2.5 working days or 4.5 days later and positive for T13. Not sure if bad results show up quicker or they just had a quiet period to check sooner? Best of luck x

Awww my DS is December 7th. We obviously like the same months! Lol! This baby is due 12/2/21 which is a pretty cool date!

I used them last time and didn't have any problems, I did need a redraw but just one of those things unfortunately. I don't know whether it's changed as from what I remember they had nothing to do with my results. Very possible I'm not remembering accurately though. Hopefully you hear quicker this time xx

Plucked up the courage to call...rang the Ultrasound Direct Clinic number twice and no answer, it just rings out ☹

To make it worse the Midwife rang me from the hospital on a withheld number and I totally panicked and cried so my husband had to answer! Raised blood sugars so have to go for repeat blood tests next week. X

Spoke to clinic - not enough fetal dna in blood sample, have to have a redraw next Wednesday night and then another bloody anxious wait for results! 😪😪😪 So probably another 3 weeks to wait worrying now!! Can't stop crying!

I know it's not bad news, I should obviously be grateful as people get worse news but it's typical as exactly the same happened to me last time.
