Harmony Test - waiting results

Hello, I had my harmony test done Monday night. I was told the lab in London would receive it by Tuesday night and start working on it and that it would take 10-14 working days to come back.

The wait is horrible. Anyone else recently had them done and had to wait that long for it to come back from London?😭

Yes, mine took a full 2 weeks. I had it done in Birmingham women's. The wait was hideous.

@Liveforholidays do you know which lab yours was sent to? I know my samples was sent to TDL Genetics and their website says 3-5 days🙈

Birmingham women's has its own lab so was processed there I think. I couldn't believe it when they said it would take so long.

Snap! I had mine on Monday night and currently a bag of nerves waiting for the result.
I'm just hoping I get them by next Friday so I don't have to go over another weekend. I was told it should be a maximum of 10 working days but normally quicker.

@MaryShelley1818 yeah I was told normally quicker too as they know it’s for pregnant lady’s so they try to get them back quicker. I was hoping for some miracle yesterday & that it would miraculously come in. I’ve told myself that I’ll stop obsessing over it until Tuesday. But I know on Monday I’ll be stuck to my phone & when it rings I keep panicking🙈

Yeah same here, I'm really hoping it's back Tuesday/Wednesday. I can't bear the thought of a phone call....I'm 42 and it took 18mths to get pregnant so this is really my last chance.

@MaryShelley1818 did yours get sent to a lab in London too? Mine was sent to TDL genetics via post. Are you finding out the gender too? Good luck & I hope you don’t have to wait too long for your results!

Yes, that lab sounds familiar! Was definitely London.

Yes, we hope to be able to find out baby's sex. It would be very exciting if I wasn't so nervous! Lol

Yeah my friend's went to the US but that was about 8yrs ago when it wasn't as common over here and there weren't as many UK labs.

I had mine done two weeks ago - it was a private test via the Fetal Medicine Centre in London.

Mine went to TDL next day delivery too 👌

I got my 1st time results after 5 days... not enough fetal DNA 🤦‍♀️ Lol

Second test took 6 days xx

@MaryShelley1818 100% know what you mean. Just want the results to know everything is ok. I’ve got the 12 week scan on the 5th August & hope we have it before then🤞🏼🤞🏼

@FlorenceFlounce that’s what I’m scared it’s going to come back with🙈I was 11 weeks when they took bloods so hopefully there’s enough. How long did you have to wait for retest? Some say they make you wait a few weeks🙈

My 12 week scan is on Monday afternoon so highly unlikely I'll get our results before then! X

Yeah I didn't have enough fetal DNA with my little boy 3yrs ago. Was excruciating having to go through it all again xx

I had the first test done at 10+1 and I was going private, I did say to the consultant when booking that I thought it was too early lol...

I was basically 11wks once I heard it hadn’t worked and then got tested again at exactly 12wks. X

Oh I know, I've been the same! I've given up for today now and still thinking Wednesday

I'm just back from my NHS dating scan and everything went well and looks good x

@MaryShelley1818 I’m so glad everything’s good from the scan for you. I’ve still got another week & half to wait. Starting to get so disheartened about these results😕I’m working away Wednesday & Thursday too, so really worried that if the results are bad & I get them on Wednesday I don’t know how cope on my own😕

I'm in wales and my nipt test took 5 days for the results, not sure where they do them to tho x

@Missy38 that’s great! I’m hoping today might be the day🤞🏼🤞🏼It’ll be 5 working days from last Wednesday today so hopefully today would be the day xx
