I can't get into the old thread so I think we filled it up! I hope everyone finds the new one.

So nice, shiny new thread, nice shiny new AIBU.

AIBU to be jealous of my DH's correspondence with a stranger?

Pogle, I feel I ought to know yours but I'm not getting anywhere.

Maria, this isn't ringing bells at all now. Doh!

hi moomin, losing one partner is unfortunate but two.....

MoominMymbleandMy · 18/05/2009 18:24

Umm, sounds like Ted Hughes, tbh, Polly.

OP posts:
pollywobbledoodle · 18/05/2009 20:22

moomin, now that you come to mention it, it does but it isn't.....

there were also my classmates who died....why would anyone suspect me of wrongdoing?

any more clues for the others?

Pogleswood · 18/05/2009 22:06

Evening!
yours sounds familiar,Moomin - but I think it may just be reminding me of something else.. More clues, please?
Polly, are your parents keen to discuss you?

AIBU to think my aunt may be lying to me?I thought I knew her but since we left home I'm not so sure..

MoominMymbleandMy · 18/05/2009 22:23

Evening Polly and Pogle!

Hmmm, making wild stabs here. Polly, you sound a bit of a scamp. Patricia Highsmith???

Pogle, have you just cremated your mother?

...Not only am I married to the ex-DH's cousin, but my DH and I are living in the house commissioned by my ex-DH, and which was designed by my now dead lover...

OP posts:
CJCregg · 18/05/2009 22:28

Moomin, I have absolutely no idea who you are but hats off, you are certainly a bit of a goer ...

Evening all.

Pogle, are you travelling with her?

Polly, I have no idea who you are, either, but you sound like a nasty piece of work!

CJCregg · 18/05/2009 22:32

AIBU to think there's an awful lot of unnecessary fuss being made about the stair carpet? There are more important things going on, you know ...

MoominMymbleandMy · 18/05/2009 22:38

Hi CJ, I am, aren't I! But not as much as my ex-DH would have liked...which was why he forced the issue...nasty wretch!

Is the stair carpet problem taking you away from your diary, CJ?

OP posts:
Pogleswood · 18/05/2009 22:46

Good grief Moomin!No,I haven't cremated her(who would I be if I had??)Yes,CJ,I am!
No idea on yours or Moomin's ,sadly..

MoominMymbleandMy · 18/05/2009 22:50

Umm, Pogle, a person who'd gone travellng with an aunt!

I didn't mean you'd personally cremated her! I meant that you'd been to her cremation and brought home her ashes in a little urn!

OP posts:
MoominMymbleandMy · 18/05/2009 22:51

Or even travelling

OP posts:
Pogleswood · 18/05/2009 22:54

On a fresh note,AIBU to think that if you do not get your supper it is the last straw?

Pogleswood · 18/05/2009 22:57

Ho,ho! But which aunt, that is the question...Must go to bed soon - ability to work already being affected by tendency to brood on this thread, lack of sleep on top of this probably a bad idea!

MoominMymbleandMy · 18/05/2009 23:02

Fresh out of inspiration, Pogle, more clues to both please?

I take it you didn't return from the crematorium then.

...We've been adapted for the telly twice! Last time people were lusting after my vile ex-DH. He's supposed to be the bad guy!

OP posts:
CJCregg · 18/05/2009 23:11

Moomin, I'm so close to getting yours I could scream!

Diaries aren't particularly significant, but this stair carpet business is getting me down. We're not supposed to walk on it, you see ...

CJCregg · 18/05/2009 23:12

Pogle, are you, or are you not, accompanying your Aunt Augusta?!

MoominMymbleandMy · 18/05/2009 23:16

CJ, have you been evacuated to Wales!

I don't think Pogle is Aunt Augusta btw.

OP posts:
CJCregg · 18/05/2009 23:23

Moomin, I've said it before, but you are a fecking genius.

Now, please, please, please give me one more clue so I can crack yours?

Not Aunt Augusta? Who, then?

MoominMymbleandMy · 18/05/2009 23:25

Or even travelling with Aunt Augusta

CJ, do come back and tell me whether you've been visiting Mrs Gotobed at Druid's Bottom!

Pogle, in your non-aunt accompanying incarnation, have you been a wild thing today?

OP posts:
MoominMymbleandMy · 18/05/2009 23:27

Cross-post! I wish I was CJ, but it's very nice of you to say so!

My ex-DH was played on the telly by a red-haired chap who's become very famous, and is brilliant at accents.

OP posts:
CJCregg · 18/05/2009 23:36

Oh, thank you, Moomin, for putting me out of my misery. Hope you are happy with your Young man.

MoominMymbleandMy · 18/05/2009 23:40

Blissfully CJ!

I think Pogle has gone to bed so we're still haunted by travelling aunts who aren't Aunt Augusta.

OP posts:
MoominMymbleandMy · 18/05/2009 23:42

And for tomorrow...

AIBU to be upset that the dressmaker has made a botch of my new dress?

Night CJ!

OP posts:
CJCregg · 18/05/2009 23:46

Oh, Lordy ... that's a whole new can of worms and will have to wait till tomorrow.

Night Moomin!

pollywobbledoodle · 19/05/2009 10:32

pogle my parents might have wanted to talk about me but my dad died when i was 12 and my mum is in an asylum....(and she will die before the end of the book....nothing to do with me, honestly!)

cj i'm genuinely misunderstood..

moomin, not highsmith..is your ex dh a policeman?
