OP posts:
Stayingsunnygirl · 17/04/2009 20:43

It is, salome. Mwahhh ha ha ha!!

Stayingsunnygirl · 17/04/2009 20:45

Yay CJ!!! The Land of Green Ginger!

With villains called RubDubBenThud and TinTackPingFoo - it's hilarious.

MoominMymbleandMy · 17/04/2009 20:46

Green Ginger...oh I am kicking myself.

Is no one going to help me with the potential serial killer next door?

salome64 · 17/04/2009 20:46

CJ. Awed admiration emocion.

CJCregg · 17/04/2009 20:46

Ok, I'm going to get something to eat now (starving but can't drag self away). Then I'm going to come back here and blow you buggers out of the water ... mwahaha indeed!

CJCregg · 17/04/2009 20:48

(Just turned oven on. Will take a while to heat up.)

Moomin - bells vaguely ringing but need some help.

salome64 · 17/04/2009 20:51

I have no food! (Guess who didn't go shopping today?) And booty call has mysteriously not turned up from work before going off to see his dcs this weekend so can't send him down the shops! Ach, who cares? might have to get a takeaway! Yippee! what a treat!

MoominMymbleandMy · 17/04/2009 20:51

The child is of very good family, the son of a Spanish ambassador no less, but he is still worrying me.

cory · 17/04/2009 20:51

I am currently undertaking a sea voyage, which I hope will further my career, but am a little concerned at the appearance of the crew. The only person who inspires any confidence, despite his unfortunate disability, is the chef, who has the carriage and demeanour almost of a gentleman. Should I befriend this person and make him my confidant?

salome64 · 17/04/2009 20:53

madelaine?

CJCregg · 17/04/2009 20:53

I'd say you've earned it, salome. I am having last night's leftovers! And, while waiting, scoffing what's left of DD's chocolate bunny. (Ate a load of it last night too - when questioned, the best I could come up with was 'a rabbit must have come in from the garden and nibbled at it')

CJCregg · 17/04/2009 20:55

Well done, salome!

MoominMymbleandMy · 17/04/2009 20:57

Salome wins!

salome64 · 17/04/2009 20:59

oh yeah! ooh baby! oh yeah! ooh baby!

MoominMymbleandMy · 17/04/2009 21:03

And for your next trick what about my dressing gown collector?

MrsFlittersnoop · 17/04/2009 21:04

I live at the top of the house and don't get out much these days, but from what I can gather, my Great Great Great Great Grandaughter has been allowed to strike up a most unsuitable relationship with a humble young miner. Her father (the King of this remote mountain realm) is away fighting wars most of the time.

There are also reports of hideously deformed creatures prowling round the gardens at night.

AIBU to sack the nanny for neglecting her duties? You just can't get the staff these days.....

MoominMymbleandMy · 17/04/2009 21:07

This Curdie fellow just doesn't know his place.

CJCregg · 17/04/2009 21:07

Is he called Curdie?

Moomin - remind me about the dressing gown collector?

CJCregg · 17/04/2009 21:08

I say, Moomin, that's just not cricket!

salome64 · 17/04/2009 21:09

moomin, I'd forgotten about the dressing gowns Hm.. Deep Thought. Nope. Not a clue.

Stayingsunnygirl · 17/04/2009 21:10

This one is cheating more than a bit - it's a book that I read as a teenager, but I can't remember the name. I'm hoping that one of you brilliant ladies will be able to help.

I'm in charge of the gates of heaven. A cat with a halo has turned up, claiming to have saved a cathedral full of people. AIBU to ask to have my medication increased?

salome64 · 17/04/2009 21:12

stayingsunny! Whaaa? Def increase medication!

MoominMymbleandMy · 17/04/2009 21:13

The dressing gown collector was coping with magical children long before Harry Potter got off the platform.
Don't disappoint me. I know you can do it.

salome64 · 17/04/2009 21:15

I'll have a go. Would he be an Uncle by any chance?

MrsFlittersnoop · 17/04/2009 21:16

Well done! I can see I'll have to try a bit harder...

Did anyone try my post at 15.55 BTW? I've been forced to do some cooking thingy stuff this evening, so haven't read through all the thread.
