to still feel a tiny bit hacked off that I was found lacking by a certain "rival" website?

I have my suspicions what the reasons were for my rejection but won't go into them because I don't want to disclose who I am.

And yes I do know for a fact that I was vetoed, not "accidentally left out".

Idranktheeasterspirits · 31/03/2009 20:24

Oh dear, has ravelry rejected you then?

HuwEdwards · 31/03/2009 20:25

So.....

laweaselmys · 31/03/2009 20:25

Let it go.

LackaDAISYcal · 31/03/2009 20:25

Oooooh, I was hoping this was about Netmums or something

Please let sleeping dogs lie. No good will come of dredging it all up again.

frazzledgirl · 31/03/2009 20:25

Groucho Marx: "I don't want to join a club that will accept me as a member."

When I look at the well-known posters that aren't on M, they're who I consider to be the best and brightest, the heart of Mumsnet.

(I can say this because I'm not)

I'd far rather be here than patting myself on the back in a Mean Girls clique.

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 31/03/2009 20:25

Who told you you were vetoed? Whoever did that is not a good friend.

MrsMattie · 31/03/2009 20:26

I can't take the whole Moldies thing seriously. Do they have jackets like the Pink Ladies?

MummyCharli · 31/03/2009 20:27

sagacious · 31/03/2009 20:29

Were your tickers not sparkly enough

theDreadPirateRabbit · 31/03/2009 20:30
hullygully · 31/03/2009 20:31

I heard you were too fat.

FlappyTheBat · 31/03/2009 20:32

Obviously from some of the posts here, M's are those who shouldn't be named????

I'm an old mner who left but has recently come back to find a shiny new look, a lot of new people and a lot of old names missing.

Sorry for bit of a hijack there, won't ask but if I do a search, will that answer any questions?

seeker · 31/03/2009 20:33

DON"T FEED THE MOLDIES!

thirtysomething · 31/03/2009 20:33

can someone please explain a) what moldies is/are and b) what this is all about? Or does the fact that I don't know just make me a part-timer?

Idranktheeasterspirits · 31/03/2009 20:33

Have just spat out my cough medicine thanks to HullyGully

MrsMcCluskey · 31/03/2009 20:33

face?
Bothered?

hullygully · 31/03/2009 20:33

They should be named and shamed. Oh no, we did that. Well, let's do it again. Them and their bloody weight requirements.

Tortington · 31/03/2009 20:34

part-timer

FfreckleFface · 31/03/2009 20:34

Yep.

VVVVVVVVVVVVVVUnreasonable.

And on the subject of Babycentre...I tried it when I was first pregnant, but for the life of me couldn't work out how they ever manage a conversation. All that sparkly shite and pictures and countdowns and ages - you could only fit one post on a page. 'Twas a sad day when it dawned on me that I'm just not spangly enough.

Thank goodness for plain and sensible MN.
