The house price to income ratio tells you all that’s gone wrong. The value of assets has gone sky high relative to the value of labour and it’s much harder to tax asset wealth without choking off investment and innovation. So income keeps taking the hit even as its ability to buy the essentials that some of those increasingly expensive assets represent has withered.

You might want to look at the world around the UK and the root problems caused by the orange idiot, his Russian counterpart, Israel and Palestine, ongoing civil wars in Sudan and Ukraine. All of these things impact on the UK. What do you expect Labour to do. Maybe you just want the employment rate to go sky high and for more British people, never mind anyone else, to be out on the street.

I counted days till next election hoping for them to lose majority. But depends on what happens in Starmer's seat AB might call for early election. In this case Labour will come back with much smaller but still majority.
