To absolutely hate this government, and what they are doing to our country?

Strong words but is is how I feel at this point in time. All of them make me feel physically sick. The latest example -

Oh yes of course it's all the fault of the Labour government. You do realise that most of the people claiming these benefits did so before Labour came to power. Immigration also existed (at higher numbers) before Labour came to power. I mean of course it is up to individuals to decide what kind of policies they agree/disagree with but why do all these posts have to blame the current government of the day? These issues transcend which party is in power. Its fairly obvious from reading these posts that the right wing press are doing a good job of trying to lay everything at the door of labour to get a right wing party back into power.

If you hate this country so much why don't you leave? Can you not be supportive of your fellow citizens?

The UK and NI is a fantastic country. Why are you talking down all the wonderful people who work hard daily to live good lives and support each other?

Then how do we pay for small businesses, and any businesses, to be tax free?

It a benefit to be able to set up a business and fold it after a year without paying a penny in tax. If that benefit costs the government 17 billion a year, how can we afford to pay for it?

I agree small businesses are beneficial, but losing so much tax is unsustainable. I would introduce a 'three strikes' policy so you have 2 genuine chances to fold unsuccessful businesses, but people cannot do it every year to avoid paying any tax at all ever. That still encourages small businesses to take chances and discourages career tax evaders.

I assume you’re aware that parties on both sides have suffered attacks and that the incident with Lewis Holmes was hardly isolated. I don’t condone any sort of violence, which is more than can be said of Robert Jennerick and Lee Anderson who demonstrated zero empathy towards a female protestor who was dragged around a room by her hair, and even suggested a whip round for the reform audience member who hit her with his walking stick.

The thing is though, politicians (especially those who make a career out of promoting inflammatory views) are well aware of the risks of the job and make the choice to continue down those paths regardless. It doesn’t mean they deserve to be attacked but they have chosen whether to expose themselves to those risks. People who suddenly find themselves disabled or their country being blown to bits have no choice in the matter. I think it’s abhorrent that anyone would attack someone at their most vulnerable and try to make their living conditions even worse.

PIP claims have been steadily rising ever since its introduction. But what nobody actually tells the public is that this is because there is continuing migration to PIP of those claimants previously on the old Disability Living Allowance. This has been the case throughout the lifetime of PIP. Those cases are represented statistically as new claims for PIP but successive governments have omitted to mention that they don’t incur any extra cost because they were already claiming.

Ah - this is a recent thread - I had assumed it would be an old one from when the Tories were busy wrecking social cohesion, public services and European cooperation.

The only reference you have provided is for a source - the migration observatory - who state that under labour the exact opposite of what you claim has happened.

Unless you can point, specifically, at the figures you think exist then it's very plain you are talking out of your arse.
