Blindness is a serious disability. Not some word to be chucked around for marketing attention. There are a lot of other words that could have been used - mystery box, suprise box.

Dont worry, doubt they'll see it.

So many phrases. Eg blind rage. It’s just a word.

Colour blind

It's often referred to as ‘baking blind’ in pastry recipes and means briefly cooking something like a pie or tart shell before filling it with fruit etc. It dries the base out a little so that it doesn’t get soggy when the filling goes in.
The instructions would read something like ‘bake blind at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.’

Blind isn't a used disability term now. It's vision impaired. I really wouldn't go round looking for offence. 🤷‍♀️

Double blind trials, blind tasting, duck blind (usually called a hide in the UK though), blinders (blinkers).

I generally prefer to be guided by people with lived experience on things like this. A quick google suggests that as there is no negative connotations around the use of the word it is considered inoffensive. It is merely a descriptor.

I've just had some blinds installed. I'm mortified at my unintentional insensitivity. From now on I will call them window winks.

Why on earth do people go out of the way to find something to be offended by?? This is not offensive, it is an appropriate, actual use of the word ‘blind’.
