Two-tier face covering bans?

So, some cities are going to introduce bans against face coverings- but it only applies to some people? Am I alone in thinking this is two-tier justice?

Whi h is why we need to ban all face coverings in every public situation. Thugs yes. People attacking protests yes. Women brainwashed into thinking that they will be at risk should a man see her face yes. Criminals riding illegal vehicles yes.

Did you know it's because it's belived there are 10 parts to sexuality and men have one, women have 9. So the poor mens can't help themselves when it comes to lustiing over women. That's why the women cover up. Because the men can't control themselves.

I agree, no need for face coverings unless for safety or health- welders, bike riders, surgical masks, etc. are sensible.
But no one needs to hide their face doing everyday activities.

Though while it isn't true men can't help themselves (they can assert self-control), women should try to redress the balance by trying to appear unattractive and avoid going out in public without a male relative.

They are not 'hiding their identity'. They are taking up their role as a health care professional, which they have to prioritise over any personal beliefs they hold.

I think its reasonable to expect employees of the state to be required to appear completely impartial. Especially in a multicultural society where there is increasing conflict between members of different religious and political groups.

I mean you can hardly move where I live for hijab wearing women rioting............

My husband wears one under his motorbike helmet. He is white and bald. He didn't go on the march, but apparently owning one is enough to class you as a thick thug on Mumsnet.
