AIBU to find repeated Sue Sue Sue comments on Ann Droid boring now

In every discussion about the TV comedy Ann Droid there are numerous posters writing "Sue Sue Sue".

We've just had episode 4 and it's not been said since the very beginning of the second episode and doesn't feature anymore yet everyone is writing it on posts. AIBU to find it boring now? The show has moved on and it's funny enough.

I found it quite trite, surprised Poldark agreed to be in this. Does it get better?

I haven't watched an episode. The few adverts were enough to make it clear it would be absolute shite!

I have to say I bloody loved it. Also loved poldark and Aiden Turner sadly does not feature.
as for Sue Sue Sue I have to admit this has been said in jest following the show if the name or word Sue crops up

Michael is played by the guy from Motherland. I can’t remember his name. I wish it was Aiden Turner!

Michael was the most annoying character ever to appear on TV. I enjoyed Ann Droid but he ruined it, to an extent (he and his stupid wife).

I haven't seen the adverts but have watched it and enjoyed it.

From everything I read it's a massive hit, I've seen very few negative comments about it, definitely non saying it was shite

I am finding it quite funny. Agree that Michael Is extremely annoying, wet lettuce!

I am enjoying it. I laugh a lot it is so funny. I'm hoping for a second series already.

I stopped watching it after the first episode, because the "Sue Sue Sue" was so grating.

The joke isn't funny either: the three words aren't inherently amusing together, "dumb robot taking things too literally" is a trope, and the set up makes no sense: why would her friend bellow" SUE SUE SUE" into the robots face when asked for a name? If she didn't hear the first time, then the joke might work better, but she just goes straight for it.

And yes, I am fun at parties.

I loved it.
Avoided watching at first because I thought it would be silly nonsense but in fact it actually made me laugh, which is a rarity these days.
By the end I found myself wishing I could have a robot carer.

Also in the programme I don't think it's used after episode one? I didn't notice it anyway.

The adverts are rubbish. The show is great as a gentle, at times poignant comedy. I really enjoyed it.

Every day I am astounded by how unobservant people are.

I've been surprised by the rave reviews. I admire both lead actresses but decided after watching episode 1 that it wasn't for me. I just found it too silly and unrealistic.

I loved it! Wasn’t sure when I saw it advertised but love the actors so thought I would give it a go. Funny and sad at the same time. Weirdly I was disappointed they stopped saying Sue Sue Sue…..

Thought it was quite poignant and gently funny. Good cast.
