and there is now enough evidence to show that he will be forced to stand down by the start of October
when there will be ANOTHER by election
that he cannot stand in

It’s a really important demonstration that democracy can give ordinary people a say.

Love em or loathe em, they have a lot of support from younger voters. Their problem is that their support is concentrated so translates to few seats, PR would benefit them here.
It will be interesting to see if support for the Greens is something these voters age out of, or if it turns into a a long term loyalty. If so, with Conservatives gradually falling out of the electorate through natural means, and Reform voters close on their heels, you might need to brace yourself for very different viewpoints holding sway. The next decade will be interesting.

I think Nigel Farage is a count as well, but my spelling has never been that good.

I think the biggest problem here is that you should, in my opinion, always vote FOR someone or something, rather than against. Look at all the people who voted "Anything but Tory" at the last election then have done nothing but moan about Labour since.
I don't like Farage but worry about people suggesting voting for Count Binface which is just a juvenile idea in my view (unless he has some wonderful and serious policies which I have missed)

I was actually just thinking that and it's most likely the green voters will grow out of it.
I desperately want to believe that things wouldn't be bad under greens but to be totally honest, I'm mostly scared of the influx of people who pretend to be asylum seekers and then commit abhorrent crimes. I think greens would let every single one in and deny that they're actually dangerous.

It's quite common on threads like this. Either people really are that thick, or there are a lot of non UK posters. Or both could be true.

I'm no more scared of asylum seekers committing crimes than I am of British born men committing them tbh. The problem is male VAWG, whatever the ethnicity of the man. That's not to say I agree with open borders, simply that as a woman I'm a lot more frightened of Reform and their every day misogyny than the threat from men from abroad.

He could yet be disqualified, as he's an intergalactic space traveler who doesn't actually live in the constituency....that we know....

His list of actual pledges is much longer, and includes a new hand dryer to be moved to a more sensible position.

I was like that until I was shown how much more likely they are to commit crimes against women compared to other men. And until I saw what they were like locally.
I'm happy that you're somewhere that doesn't house big numbers of refugees.
My heart goes out to all the women that had to needlessly suffer and probably get 'but what about what about ...big bad white men, they're bad too!' if they try voicing their concerns.
The biggest pro asylum supporters are the people that don't know much about what happens, know they won't be housed nearby and want to appear good.

I’d seen the list you posted, which I thought was an updated list rather than the only one, but couldn’t find it when I searched today.

We gave a hotel housing asylum seekers in my town as it happens, but that's by the by. I'm not particularly pro asylum. I just try to keep perspective.
Because the threat to women comes from men, MVAWG is a national epidemic, and I want that looked at in its entirety, without being told that its that particular group of men we need to deal with and then it'll be better. Because that's a lie.
And I certainly don't want to hear that from a man who thinks Andrew Tate is a positive for 'emasculated young men' and 'helps raise their confidence in schools' and dismisses vile sexism as 'laddish banter'.
I want a party to protect all women from all dangerous men, with strong laws and sanctions to deter and address all perpetrators whether from abroad or British born.
