Its becoming clear that Trump has a kind of dementia. A guy on tiktok claims that at the World Cup Final, he was 'sundowning' by wondering around everywhere.

Him being handled there and in Turkiye, is proof enough for me. Apparently he constantly smells of urine as well, due to his meds.

There really needs to be an upper age limit or health check of men running countries. Too many dementia riddled old farts running countries.

The US political system is so different from ours that I struggle to understand it. In the last election it was very hard to grasp how they could end up with two very old men in poor health with visibly declining cognitive functions as the only two candidates for the most powerful job in the world. Why didn't the Democrats get their act together earlier to force Biden to stand aside in a timely way so they could field a better candidate? Why do the Republicans let themselves be used by Trump and his family?

I agree thread should be pulled but on factual note wanted to say that White House acknowledges T has venous insufficiency: literally bad circulation causing very swollen legs. He's probably got a lot of compression wear on his lower legs. The IVs are probably vitamins and healthy stuff.

Someone is posting rampantly on his social media all night which is main reason he keeps falling asleep in ay time. A lot of people think that his aide (Natalie something?) writes many posts but under his direction. It seems obvious T has no self-discipline to get rest at night, and obviously he's highly obsessive, so those are signs of potential illness, in the big spectrum before dementia.

I reckon T will finish his term out, much as I'd love him to be politically removed from office or simply decide to resign.

Trump has two more years to go and there’s no real reason why he wouldn’t serve them out. He’ll be being carefully monitored, get the best health care and treatments. You might wish differently, but that’s just speculation.

He becomes more dangerous as he has less to lose and is surrounded by yes men and women. But that is unlikely to change.

As for those expecting a Democratic win at the next election - who is the candidate to do that? With two years to go a contender should be emerging but they’re in disarray. I wouldn’t bank on that. I think it’s more likely that JD Vance is the next President.

He’s very clear that he’s a physical therapist that specialises in working with geriatric patients with dementia, with a doctorate in his field and over 15 years of experience. He says it in every video! His expertise is therefore not in diagnosis of dementia although he would be well placed to spot the symptoms.

He’s also very clear that in his view Trump specifically has frontotemporal dementia paired with a malignant personality disorder. It’s not just “dementia”.

As has been pointed out, people are not wishing him dead, although his state of health is such that he may not survive much longer and people are honestly stating that they would not mourn him. Most people are simply wishing him out of office.

Agree. If I was a citizen of a country that could elect someone like Trump not once but twice, I would be agitating for a change in the constitution and the political system. Both their main parties appear to be pretty awful now.
