Its really not the individual players fault. The person at fault is primarily Trump (who be his own admission didn't know What a red card meant) and Infantino, whose just a total arse licker where Trump is concerned.

I've been watching the team I choose to support for over 50 years (latterly as an armchair supporter, it's true) and one of the things I've learned is that during a game/season/tournament you get penalties you shouldnt, you don't get penalties you should. Corners, fouls, card (red and yellow) the same.

Did anyone see Balogon's foul that led to the red card? Was it warranted? I have no doubt it was, but the spin is unreal about him being hard done by. I didn't see it myself. The ref is probably in hiding.

The whole world is rooting for Belgium and wishing the USA out. I think the USA should be banned from hosting the World Cup again for corruption. But obviously this won’t happen as FIFA is bent too. There’s the DT red card controversy, but also the visa issues, the Somali ref that couldn’t ref, Iran having to commute to matches, sky high ticket prices. Worst run WC in many years. We need to win to turn it into a positive experience in our collective memory.
