I really feel for the US team as none of this is their fault. It’s an absolute disgrace that it’s been allowed to happen.
It would be nice if they still respected the ban and didn’t play him, that would feel fair but I can’t see that happening.
I really hope Belgium win but feel a bit sad that is has been tainted for both teams.

That's a lame excuse of Trump's behaviour. It's not the bully's fault; it's just the fault of those who gave into the bully. I agree that it is also FIFA's fault, but that doesn't absolve Trump.

Absolutely not excusing Trump’s behaviour. Of course it was appalling. But it didn’t surprise me. What surprised and shocked me was that FIFA gave in to it.

Blatter is probably missing the brown envelopes. Apparently the red carded player is one of the people Trump wants to deport because of his citizenship status, don't reckon much for his chances now!
I do hope that the IOC are taking note and have the cojones to keep Trump in his box in 2028 but I won't hold my breath.
