Working royals get security when they are on official engagements.
Non working royals get no security.

I believe there was some really disgusting stuff on Twatter but I removed myself from there when Musk took over so I can't corroborate it, but what was said about a sick woman on MN was unbelievable so yes other Royal families have had such bile written about them, and yes there are still some nasty things said about Catherine even now

King Charles has nothing do with the security provided to Harry. Harry has his own security. The type of security Harry wants is state funded armed security which only the Met Office provide. And I don't really want a country where the Royal family can meddle in security decisions or where people with wealth can by the police for hire.

Harry has been told he has to give 28 days notice so his security can be reviewed. And if there is a risk present that warrants such high level security he will get it. Armed guards cannot just be on standby for when Harry decides to visit. The people that make these decisions have "more than half a brain cell". They have access to intelligence and data to help make these decisions. They dont want people getting shot so I think we can trust their decision more than the average Harry and Meghan fan.

And I'm pretty sure as King of England, there's plenty stopping him from just "hopping on a plane". His son has trashed and criticised his family across several mediums of media. It's no wonder his family are in absolute no rush to see him. Harry's absolutely made his bed.

People speak about the Royal family as we know them intimately. We have no idea what really goes on behind closed doors. We have Harry's version of events (of which there have already been several contradictions), there will be the RFs version of events which of course they arent going to speak about. And then in the middle of that, the truth probably.
