cats, yesterday outside my front door I have put in two lovely new flower beds, within less then 12 hours, two cats shits!
we are a end semi, they seem to love our garden!
we have tried cat alarms,
its making me dislike neighbours that own the cats, selfish to own a cat when they know damn well they are going to shit on someone else’s property.
I might just go let my dog take a dump outside their house!!!!!!

I can guarantee the cats are not the only animals that poo outside your front door. Rats, mice, birds, insects, all will leave their deposits. It's the circle of life. Just be grateful it isn't mounts of fox poo which we get daily and smells even worse.

Try living at the seaside where the seagulls have no control over either their vocal cords or bowels.

That evidence is inadmissible because the cat is not doing a poo. They could be having a wee, which you aren't complaining about.

When they do a poo they lift their bum off the ground about 4/6" (depending on the length of their back legs) and then get to work.

If viewed from the front their face takes on a look of serious concentration, they might even furrow the brows if producing a large deposit.

I rest my case.🙂

At least you can go out in public areas, cafes, restaurants, everywhere in fact, without seeing them EVERYWHERE, unlike those of us who feel the same about dogs - although of course they only shit all over the streets, parks and aforesaid public areas.

Backing this one up, sorry...IMPO the suspect in question is weeing, that's not the usual poo position for cats, they like to stand as high as possible.

That cat is not shitting as its bum is too close to the ground and its tail is not up. They naturally lift their tails to poo. It’s either having a wee or just sitting watching the world go by.

you need to put more in your 'flower beds'. You have basically created a perfect cat bathroom & sent out an invitation to use it.

as another poster has said, put in (soft) indoor plant markers. That will deter the cats without hurting them or other wildlife.

Whether the cats are pooing or having a wee, they both still smell horrible, and my kids playing around it is not nice, I also can’t have my daughter window open to wide, I caught one in her moses baskets a few months ago having a nice little nap.

I like cats but you're not being unreasonable- cats hate and display utter contempt for every human so you're being fair enough really. There's an honesty about them that I have to respect.

I hate dogs and dog owners

Our NDN's have got 2 cats that use our garden as their toilet, which our dogs then eat if I don't see it first. And both dogs have been really poorly from doing so with gastric upsets needing vet treatment. I'm getting really fucking sick of it to be honest.
