Who here would honestly happily contribute to George’s education costs?

Reported to be £68000 a year at Eton.

When I was looking up this £1.9 million figure, that everyone trots out, it went into telling me how much is the entry fee for Windsor Castle, etc. I know that the Tower of London is entirely run by an independent charity so that doesn't count either way. Such a smoke screen around things 💂

Here's another cost that I hadn't thought of, travel, this was on the BBC a year ago to explain the Royal train would stop in 2027 as its rarely used:

The total cost of royal travel is £4.7 million, a rise of £500,000 from the previous year.
The single biggest travel item was £400,000 for the King and Queen's trip to Australia and Samoa.

How much do the government cost? A lot more than the Royals. And they are far more corrupt and utterly useless.

Oh don't, you can imagine who may have contributed ... The point some of us have made is that it is the tax payer who foots the bill for all of their security. We are then not allowed to know how much that is.

There was some anger about paying for their continuing security when they were adults, but not working royals. For instance, when they travelled with their mother to dine with Epstein.

I've begun to wonder if there's some sort of tit for tat game going on between W and Pa.

W lets it be known he's paid his dues (still interested to see how some £3m seems to have escaped the tax man's claw) and lo and behold Pa is once again on the transparency path and (I think I saw reported today) W is going to have to now supposed to follow suit.

I fully expect the finer details to be rolled up in vague terms though so I don't think we'll learn much but still. A weak salute to transparency is better than the two fingers that have been waved by both in recent years.

Yes. I appreciate that thank you. It's not so easy if English is not your first language. I suspect even a large proportion of English people are unsure of the correct use of the apostrophe. 😉
