Interesting. Where is the link for this claim?

It's not a claim. It's a fact, from MoJ data, as quoted above. But here again for you.

Foreign nationals accounted for a quarter of sexual assault convictions on women last year, figures reveal

Data from the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), obtained by the the Centre for Migration Control think tank under freedom of information laws, has revealed that 26% of 1,453 sex assault convictions on women last year were foreign nationals.

Indian nationals accounted for the highest number in foreign national convictions in 2024, with 38.
Romanians nationals were second with 27 assault, joint with Polish nationals also on 27.
Pakistani nationals accounted for 20 sexual assault conviction while 19 Afghan nationals were convicted.

While accounting for 26% of sexual assault convictions last year, foreign nationals make up 10.9% of the population.

@Happyjoe "Well, perhaps you should look at the actual news then because you're imagination is a problem."

In fairness to @LuckyHazelFox the title of this thread is that they literally couldn't get out of the station - it wasn't @LuckyHazelFox making that up in her head!

Obviously, when you look it up, you get correct information

OP didn't didn't help because she provided a really useless link as well

It's always good to question things/look for truth before getting knickers in a twist eh?
We all have access to the internet here on MN, clearly.

It is what people do, kill. Attack, try chop someones head off, stab whatever, they are from a country that is incompatible with us. It gets passed down generations

Does it ever cross your mind that people risk their lives and all their savings to make that journey to get away from this and the hope for a better life?
Why would anyone give up everything, literally everything to make that journey with the purpose to come to the UK to carry out these attacks?

They seem to be doing a good job of it.

Builders were legendary for it!

And years and years of campaigning by feminists fought to change this behaviour. It had a massive impact and construction sites now have a set of rules detailing what is and is not acceptable. It is taken very seriously and is not tolerated.

Unfortunately we are now going backwards with groups of men openly leering and catcalling often to school girls. When reported the police explain these men do not understand our expectations of behaviour. Girls are advised to keep walking, not make eye contact and avoid trigger points. Disgusting.

They come to the UK because we're a soft touch and they know there's a huge pro-asylum industry to help them, they get accommodation, food, clothes, lawyers, charities. They despise this country and they take advantage of our weakness.

Most of all they know that even if their asylum claim fails, their chances of being deported are very, very low.

This has made my day. Anyone want to protest the Oxford union on the 17th of June when Tommy ten names is going to speak all welcome

Do you actually want to stop him from speaking? That's a shame because his 2014 speech was excellent

I say that as someone who cannot stand the man, but I do believe in playing the ball, not the man

Anyway, I think he's going to be stopped from giving that speech one way or another. Especially under the current regime, they'll decide its breach of the peace or something.

The really sad thing is that we haven't learned anything in the last 12 years. Well, ordinary people have, but politicians refuse to do anything about it.

I didn't think there was a true record keeping account of this by asylum or migrant status on crimes?

Apart from the thugs burning people's houses down in Belfast? Innocent people. But because of their colour they were targeted. Absolutely bloody disgusting behaviour.

I assumed we were talking about the arguments presented by people who were engaging in the debate here, a fair assumption of course because that is in fact what we were all doing. The actions of some thugs in Belfast do not mean that anyone on here has claimed that ALL asylum seekers are rapists. Its a fallacious claim made by a poster who wanted to stick her nose in the air and pretend to have scored some kind of victory and it deserved to be refuted. So I refuted it.

I was born in 1976 and have watched my national identity systematically destroyed. I no longer live in a country with a shared culture or history. Even flying my national flag is controversial. And I'm expected to celebrate it!!!

I was born in 1955 @Dappy777 . Can you imagine the changes I've seen in my lifetime?

And almost every one of them has been positive. We still have a shared culture, it's just more diverse and inclusive. It's not illegal to be gay, women can have careers and equal pay, having a child and not being married is no longer something shameful. The work of artists like Chris Ofili and writers like Salman Rushdie have enriched our culture and the contribution of immigrants and their descendants to music have been significant. Look at how many of the World Cup squad are the descendants of immigrants and how a British tennis player of mixed Thai and Romanian heritage is in the final at Queens.

We still have a national identity, and it's just different, and all the better for it, imo.

but @LuckyHazelFox has made some very salient points

No one is getting their knickers in a twist - if they are, they'll be tossed over a telephone wire in Brighton. They're not on this thread.

you also believe that we've got a problem with who is coming in to this country in spite of some of the stuff you've said.

so actually, the two of you agree. But I suppose you're another one just posting for shits and giggles.

I'm encouraged to see some of the posts here though. Lots of common sense around.

Did you only hone on the one part of this, really?

And the comments, yes, builders were known for it. Still happens apparently though it's a lot less than when I was in my teens. Started when I reached puberty, about 12 when I got tits. I hated hated walking past a building site, any building site.
