No one has said why not yet.

Send them all to Brighton.

When they hold up refugees welcome here signs, I'd like to know on whose behalf they are talking. I don't remember being asked if I welcomed them without question. This is the arrogance of the left who call you racist if you don't think the way they do. Their way is the only way which is why I will continue to turn the fascist label back round on them. Keffiyeh wearing do gooders won't be bullying me into changing my mind.

Ah, the old left and right chestnut.
How about people just protest peacefully and not set fire to cars, busses and innocent people's homes? Targeting mosques? How about the wait too, until they get the facts before going off on one or people blaming immigrants for all the ills in this country? How does trashing their community show they are concerned for their community?

If people stopped sounding racist based largely on lies spread on social media and doing racist things then these protests and protesters will not be labelled racist.

Being concerned about the sheer amount of Asylum seekers is a valid concern. Unfortunately it is a very difficult problem to solve. Burning homes is not going to solve it.

July 2026

Dear concerned citizen,

Thank you for your correspondence regarding the upcoming initiative to house 10,000 male asylum seekers across Brighton and Hove, commencing this month.
This government strongly supports this initiative. Utilizing vacant homes and local bed-and-breakfast accommodations provides an efficient, immediate solution to our national housing pressures while ensuring individuals are sheltered safely during the processing of their claims. Brighton has a long, proud history of openness, and this program reflects those core values of sanctuary and community responsibility.
Our departments are coordinating closely with Sussex Police, the NHS, and Brighton & Hove City Council to ensure local infrastructure scales appropriately. We are dedicating specific resource packages to support healthcare capacity, neighborhood management, and community integration to maintain stability for both current residents and new arrivals.
We appreciate the dedication of local service providers and residents in making this transition successful. Thank you for your continued engagement as we work together to deliver a fair, orderly, and humane asylum system.
Yours sincerely,

Wow I've had a response already. Seems it's a gogo!

I despair at the number of brainwashed people in my area, who can't see that immigrants are not so different and the majority just want to live a safe, peaceful life.

Seeing resistance like this gives me hope!

The fact is we are an over populated country. A few weeks ago when we had hot weather nearly 1000 migrants crossed the channel in 3 days. That's 1000 people (mainly men) who need to be housed, clothed and fed at the tax payers' expense. We cannot afford it. We have a shortage of housing, our NHS is in a mess, we have so many young people already who cannot find employment, we need to build more prisons, hospitals etc. We don't need any more low skilled people.

This country is in such a mess, we can't keep adding to the population.

When would you say is enough, when the population reaches 75 million, 80, 90, 100 million?

"It". What is "it"?

It is what people do, kill. Attack, try chop someones head off, stab whatever, they are from a country that is incompatible with us. It gets passed down generations, the shiks mums lying calling racist racist nothing wrong with him, let me just hide the knife, while axels dad has a strong suspision his son is going to kill people and doesn't do anything about it.
I am perfectly aware the people in the uk aren't innocent either but we seemed to stopped of hearing about the people in the uk and all the killings have switched race, a black person killing a white person. We have enough monsters of our own. We dont need more. I am also perfectly aware all
you hear on the news is far white thugs blowing up busses and attacking police officers. Doesn't excuse the Manchester police attackers getting let off. Oh my neighbours had to flee their home because things were getting thrown through their windows and it wasn't safe for them. Without telling the first part of the story which is normally another murder or attack

Northermcharn · 13/06/2026 23:09

Foreign nationals are more likely to commit sexual assault in England. That is not a racist observation. It is a fact, supported by evidence and acknowledged in official audits from the MoJ.

Lottyisatitagain · 13/06/2026 23:09

Everone has freedom of speech though just because you🤔 do not agree with another persons point of view does it give people the right to stop a protest?

halfpastten · 13/06/2026 23:09

Having 'fascist' screamed at me by masked men, for standing up for women's rights, makes me now distrust anyone who uses the term. I totally distrust masked 'antifa' thugs.

Datgal · 13/06/2026 23:11

Somerford · 13/06/2026 23:03

Is it? I haven't seen anyone claim that ALL asylum seekers are rapists, murders or anything else. The claim is that more than enough of them are, and that allowing asylum seekers into the country endangers us. The number of sexual assaults, rapes, attempted murders and murders committed by asylum seekers makes that claim irrefutable.

Apart from the thugs burning people's houses down in Belfast? Innocent people. But because of their colour they were targeted. Absolutely bloody disgusting behaviour.

Meanwhile sudan his one of the countries with the highest knife crime in the world but theyre all welcome right?
Why?

Because there’s a brutal war raging in Sudan. Which might just account for its death rate.

Sounds like the protestors in Brighton didn't get the chance to get started on their protest. I see very much a problem with that.

Does it ever cross your mind that people risk their lives and all their savings to make that journey to get away from this and the hope for a better life?
Why would anyone give up everything, literally everything to make that journey with the purpose to come to the UK to carry out these attacks?

Foreign nationals accounted for a quarter of sexual assault convictions on women last year, figures reveal

Data from the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), obtained by the the Centre for Migration Control think tank under freedom of information laws, has revealed that 26% of 1,453 sex assault convictions on women last year were foreign nationals.

Indian nationals accounted for the highest number in foreign national convictions in 2024, with 38.

Romanians nationals were second with 27 assault, joint with Polish nationals also on 27.

Pakistani nationals accounted for 20 sexual assault conviction while 19 Afghan nationals were convicted.

While accounting for 26% of sexual assault convictions last year, foreign nationals make up 10.9% of the population.

Exactly but these liberals don't like facts. It's racist to quote these disturbing figures, ow and but white men.....

Brighton is welcome to all the refugees if they want them so much.

My daughter has to walk past a hotel that houses refugees on her way to college. Every day there are disgusting sexual comments shouted at girls by the refugee men who stand around smoking in large groups. Girls that aren’t in large group with lads have been approached and inappropriately touched.

I don’t want them here, send them to Brighton, if Brighton are so keen to have them.

Edited

That’s happened to me countless times through my life by white men tbf

Well, perhaps you should look at the actual news then because you're imagination is a problem.

There were protestors in Brighton today. 300 anti-immigration and 4000 not and they protested. Your issue is that the ones you like were outnumbered. Awww. Life must be a huge disappointment for you.

But isn’t this at least part of the issue people have?

I suspect, other than the outright racists, there would be a lot fewer protests if the majority of refugees were women and children.

It reallg doesn’t seem like a good idea to have a large concentration of men with nothing to do (as they can’t legally work) in one area, wherever they come from. Obviously not all men commit sexual or violent crimes - but it is mainly men that commit those crimes.

EmeraldRoulette · 13/06/2026 23:19

@Happyjoe "Well, perhaps you should look at the actual news then because you're imagination is a problem."

In fairness to @LuckyHazelFox the title of this thread is that they literally couldn't get out of the station - it wasn't @LuckyHazelFox making that up in her head!

Obviously, when you look it up, you get correct information

OP didn't didn't help because she provided a really useless link as well

Looks like anyone concerned enough about immigration to demonstrate is a fascist.

It’s going to be hilarious when Reform are in government, because that’s where it’s going.

It won’t be when we don’t have nhs workers and women’s rights. Also many people’s loved ones are in danger in a reform country
