So everyone who votes reform is a convicted domestic abuser? That’s a bold statement to make, I’d love to see the stats you have to back this up.

It’s a bit like every asylum seeker is a rapist.

BIossomtoes · 13/06/2026 22:37

EasternStandard · 13/06/2026 22:25

There’s no argument against it. Crowborough is more expensive than hotels and people in the area prefer it wasn’t there. Brighton are very keen, so empty it out and use Brighton.

Everyone’s happy.

How can former army barracks owned by the government be more expensive than hotels? It costs £100 a day in barracks and £118-145 a day in hotels.

Not much singing and dancing in Epping here. That placard is in poor taste too. No masks tbf.

That's why I explained myself

That photo is from the day Sarah White was arrested. Not a good day. I can immediately spot two people who go round the country attending all of these protests

But with Braintree and Epping They've been protesting every week and when you drive past or go past on the bus, it's pretty cheerful. As I say, good playlists! It must be a thing about protest now that they have a good playlist

But yeah, what's the difference between the photos of riot police trying to contain trouble today in Brighton and trying to contain trouble anywhere else

Why is today considered such a positive buy some posters- the police clearly didn't feel like that.

Dear Prime Minister,

I am writing to propose a strategic solution to the ongoing challenges surrounding the accommodation and integration of asylum seekers within the United Kingdom.
As the government seeks to manage housing logistics and community cohesion, I suggest that a significant proportion of asylum seekers be relocated to Brighton and Hove.
Brighton has a long and well-documented history of strong community support for progressive immigration policies, refugee advocacy, and sanctuary initiatives. Local governance, community groups, and the general electorate consistently demonstrate high levels of solidarity with displaced individuals.
By placing asylum seekers in a city that actively embraces multiculturalism and immigration, the government can achieve several key outcomes:

  • Reduced Local Friction: Directing individuals to a welcoming population minimizes community tensions often seen in more resistant areas.
  • Established Support Networks: Brighton possesses robust existing infrastructure, charities, and volunteer networks dedicated to refugee welfare.
  • Smoother Integration: An environment with high social acceptance fosters better community cohesion and mental health outcomes for arrivals.

Allocating resources and housing placements to areas with high social willingness ensures a more efficient, compassionate, and politically stable distribution of asylum seekers across the country.
Thank you for your time and consideration of this proposal. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on how regional community attitudes can be better utilized in national policy.

Yours sincerely,

A concerned citizen

Yes, maybe the govt could send lots of asylum seekers to places like Brighton, since they are so welcoming. Why not send 10,000 military aged males to Brighton? Everyone would love it.

No one has said why not yet.

Ubeinserious · 13/06/2026 22:42

I am sorry but its a different thing each week now. Wayne, rihannon, Henry, stephen? Constant stabbings, everyone was saying they girls in scotland were lying when infact they were telling the truth, Henry's lying their dying in the street and the policeman tells him i dont think you have been stabbed mate. It is obvious who people are believing now and it's all these undocumented men and their families. I dont care..call me racist. I would rather be living a town full of racists who are proud to be from this country and follow the culture cause theyre from here than undocumented men. I genuinely think when they all get put out of the hotels anyone happy to take them in should, no excuses they could sleep on the couch if youve no space or whatever and then watch how quickly people change their minds. I find it disgusting we are given a list of countries its not safe to go by the government but theyre bringing all these people over here anyway with free digs and food and clothes and playstations and phones when a normal person is working full time to fund all these hotels and absolutely struggling. Just my opinion which everyone is entitled to.

Clinicalwaste · 13/06/2026 22:45

My thoughts are with the woman who was gang raped on Brighton beach and spat on by immigrants staying in a nearby tax payer funded hotel.

Nowak wasn’t killed by an undocumented man, he was murdered by a British Sikh. Ogilvie was attacked by a documented man with indefinite leave to remain.

Because Sudan has a high asylum grant rate due to ongoing conflict, Alodid was fast-tracked via a Home Office questionnaire rather than a face-to-face interview. In September 2023, he was granted refugee status with five years' leave to remain in the UK, valid until 2028.

Fast tracked with no detailed interview or checks. His history was unclear.

I rolled my eyes so far into the back of my head over this.

Until countries across Europe start having very serious and sensible conversations about the negative impact that is being experienced as a result of mass immigration without shouting RACIST to shut people down, the far right will countinue to grow.

Which will be an overall negative, but disenfranchised people become desperate.

When you have social deprivation, living crisis, health service crisis, housing crisis being experienced across Europe, it is pretty indefensible to allow the current free for all to continue.

The whole assulym system across Europe is broken and actually its ok to say enough is enough. If a country doesn't have the ability to sufficiently support its current population it is highly irresponsible to not do everything in its power to stop illegal entry and remain of people who have no right to be there.

Yes, agreed. The refugees-welcome lobby aren't actually helping. They like to call other people fascists but they don't listen to the concerns of anyone outside of their virtue-signalling bubble.

When they hold up refugees welcome here signs, I'd like to know on whose behalf they are talking. I don't remember being asked if I welcomed them without question. This is the arrogance of the left who call you racist if you don't think the way they do. Their way is the only way which is why I will continue to turn the fascist label back round on them. Keffiyeh wearing do gooders won't be bullying me into changing my mind.

@BIossomtoes thank you that finally forced me to look up his pathway to this country

It is absolutely shocking

They basically get fast tracked through because the chances of being turned down so low!

We really don't do anything about the safety and security of our own country. It's insane. Apparently, his brothers are here too.

And apparently, he also attacked a radiographer at the hospital.

I don't know why governments can't see that it's an incredibly short path to racism from here. You're saying he's actually documented. I can't say I care. We definitely need a red list.

Brilliant!

Is it? I haven't seen anyone claim that ALL asylum seekers are rapists, murders or anything else. The claim is that more than enough of them are, and that allowing asylum seekers into the country endangers us. The number of sexual assaults, rapes, attempted murders and murders committed by asylum seekers makes that claim irrefutable.

Northermcharn · 13/06/2026 23:03

Foreign nationals accounted for a quarter of sexual assault convictions on women last year, figures reveal

Data from the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), obtained by the the Centre for Migration Control think tank under freedom of information laws, has revealed that 26% of 1,453 sex assault convictions on women last year were foreign nationals.

Indian nationals accounted for the highest number in foreign national convictions in 2024, with 38.

Romanians nationals were second with 27 assault, joint with Polish nationals also on 27.

Pakistani nationals accounted for 20 sexual assault conviction while 19 Afghan nationals were convicted.

While accounting for 26% of sexual assault convictions last year, foreign nationals make up 10.9% of the population.
