Share your minor complaints here.

Mine is that I can only assume that my DDs key worker at nursery bathes in perfume every morning, as DD reeks of it constantly. Very annoying as now I can only sniff her head for a quick endorphin release on weekends. Luckily my DSs teachers don't do this, so I can still sniff his head.

I want to do some morning stretches but my cat has been asleep on the yoga mat since the early hours. Better give up and have a toasted teacake for elevenses instead. Life is tough sometimes.

You ain't getting parcel 2 im sorry. Someone 8 streets away probably will though

In bizarre plot twist it looks like it's parcel 1 that I'm not getting. DHL have admitted they don't know where it is 😭

ObelixtheGaul · 17/06/2026 18:04

Ooh, ooh, I have another one. They have moved the position of Wordle on the NYT games app. It used to appear below the mini, midi and full crossword. Now it's at the top. I thought it had disappeared altogether this morning...

Why can we not get wine delivered. I mean you can get anything delivered from a Greggs Sausage Roll to a doughnut from Morrisons. Why not booze?

Tesco whoosh

dentists with huge hands should be banned!

Also gynecologist

Simonjt · 17/06/2026 18:36

My husband gets really bad black heads on his upper back/shoulders and in between his ‘boobs’, its my job to squeeze them, a job I love, its very satisfying. He has started using a spray (glycolic thingy), he no longer gets any black heads, he’s ruined my life really. I no longer have a purpose in life.

I have another one!

Two days ago I bought the cutest little plant and planted it out. Yesterday I was looking out of the window and it was barely visible, so I went out to have a better look at it. It was covered in the biggest, fattest, grossest slugs I've ever seen munching away on MY plant! Bastards! I removed them, but I don't think my plant will survive.

ThePieceHall · 18/06/2026 09:48

Does anyone else hate how socks are tethered to packaging either by stitches or plastic tags? One false with the nail scissors this morning while trying to liberate a new pair and I snipped a hole. Not cheap socks either. A pair of brand-new Seasalt stripes (the best socks ever, in my opinion).

I was doing this yesterday with clothes. I avoided making holes, but I think next time I'll dig out my trusty quick-unpick from my sewing kit, which would be safer.

I HATE those plastic tether things and think they should be banned. Have you ever trodden on one with a bare foot? bloody agony. Yes quick unpick much easier than scissors.

HatStickBoots · 18/06/2026 19:13

Agreed. I often think of how many of those plastic tether things there must be in existence and nobody needs them. Some shops now use ribbon or string and a small safety pin. I agree about the Seasalt socks @ThePieceHall , they’re my favourites too.

Plus, my very expensive and over-engineered Dyson regurgitates them on my floor.

I love, love, love the Seasalt socks as they stay soft after washing (household of sensory issues), go with everything and we buy them in bulk (three females) so if you lose the odd one (teen!), you can mix and match with another striped colour and they don’t look ridiculous.

God this makes me think of when my phone updates and the entire layout just changes and I feel like throwing my phone at the wall and jumping out of the window

God I used to love doing this on of my exes backs lmao. You need to sabotage him to make him get blackheads again. Or just leave him and find someone who has them

Got i hate that they use them daft arse tags on all brand new clothes. I'm reckless so I just rip them straight off, then get mad at the company for putting on tags in this way, but not at myself for ripping them off like a barbarian.

Last year I planted a lot of sunflowers, I went to the garden one evening and it was like I'd opened an all you can eat buffet for slugs 😤

Hope your plant survives. What is/was it? I like cute plants.
