Share your minor complaints here.

Mine is that I can only assume that my DDs key worker at nursery bathes in perfume every morning, as DD reeks of it constantly. Very annoying as now I can only sniff her head for a quick endorphin release on weekends. Luckily my DSs teachers don't do this, so I can still sniff his head.

I've just come in from a journey through heavy and slow traffic. Twice at smallish roundabouts people cut across me when I had right of way and just avoided a collision.

I let it go. Now, if I'd done that they'd have beeped their horns at me. I always let people get away with this and I don't know why!!!

Honestly this is me to a T, I avoid confrontation like the plague irl lmao

My cat is in dickhead mode and wants to play, except that involves him hiding from the teaser wand toy for 5 minutes before stalking it, whilst I dangle it aimlessly. I just want to sit and stare into the abyss after finishing work.

Hahaha ffs that made me laugh. I wish I didn't feel like this about my kids after I finish work but sometimes I really do. Like, sorry sweetie, but I'd really rather not be shot in the face with a nerf gun after an 8 hour shift, thanks though

I’ve put a wash in and found a stray sock on the stairs.

If there is one thing that breaks my heart, it is when this happens

Women of all shapes and sizes can get it but yes you are more at risk if you have big boobs and/or obesity which I have both.

My 3 month old daughter has to miss her baby massage class because she has a health visitor appointment at the same time, and I can’t do it at another time because my son wouldn’t be in nursery and I’d have to take him with me. He has additional needs and would scream through the whole thing.

Giiiiiirl relate if I've ever related. DS also has additional needs and if things dont go exactly how he would like at the time (which changes within a second) then all hell breaks loose.

We were at a birthday party recently and he blew out the candles (not his bday) because he thinks every bday party is to celebrate his birthday. I have tried explaining but he is minimally verbal and doesn't understand yet. I was absolutely mortified, it happened within seconds. They had to relight the candles and let birthday boy do it again, meanwhile my DS threw a massive wobbler and I was left looking like 'that mum' again.

Interesting! I've never actually heard about it before. Since being on mumsnet ive learnt so much about this and that tbh, medical conditions, new words, legalities surrounding certain issues. Its been quite educational

OP at my nursery we are only allowed to wear baby cologne if we want to wear a fragrance at all, this wouldn't be allowed for us. You can raise it with management or room leaders.

it's not nice at all for babies to smell overwhelming s
ells like this. Strong scents and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) can easily cause respiratory distress, skin irritation, or sensory overload.

Really? Thank you for sharing this! I honestly never wear perfume around my kids as I knew it was very bad for them for a lot of reasons, and not least because my daughter has eczema and it takes very little for it to flare up. I have eliminated so many foods from her diet, non-bio washing powder, all the rest of it. Over Easter Half Term we got her skin to be normal again but since she went back she has a persistent eczema rash on her shoulder. I am now actually wondering if its this teachers perfume. DD reeks of it again today.

Thank you for telling me, I will have a word about this from the medical side of things. I appreciate it ❤️

You've just reminded me of the time my ex faked his own death.
He posted on social media that he had died and funeral arrangements "would follow"
Yes, he is that much of a psychopath.
My complaint is that it wasn't true. Quite a few people had their hopes raised and then cruelly dashed when it came out that it was just a ploy for attention 😆

Wowwwwww now that is unhinged. Crying at "my complaint is that it wasn't true" hahahahhaha 😭😭 fucking howling

It's not so unusual, though.

My late auntie always used to say she was cold in bed at midsummer (22/23 June??). I scoffed, but I've found it to be true more often than not! It's funny how long the English summer actually takes to get going. If you think of midsummer really as the start of summer, that's both more realistic and less depressing all round!

I have a horse who lives out all year round, unrugged, and the only times I've found him cold, miserable and shivering are in summer. He gets a decent fur coat in winter, but in summer he is just wearing his fine fur, so if it's cold and wet he is unprepared, poor thing.

My rechargeable illuminated magnifying mirror runs out of battery more quickly than I would like. The charging cable is in my dressing table drawer and the plug socket by my chair leg but I just wish it could illuminate a bit brighter when I'm staring at my massive pores wondering if anyone has fallen into one that day.

Nein!

I am a huge fan of the German TV series Dark on Netflix.

It’s the name of the book in that series

To add to it I can’t afford one of those washing machines that has a little drawer on the front so you can chuck in things you’ve missed 😂

Roofer number 3 has dissappeared into the alternative universe that roofers 1 and 2 went after assessing the job, in person, providing quotes, which were agreed to then........ nothing.
No response to e-mails, phone calls, text and voicemail messages - nothing.
Meanwhile, my garage roof continues to leak and the wooden beams, trusses etc continue to deteriorate slowly.
Why? Why do they waste their time, and mine, doing this?
