Starting the injection on the 15th of this month, due to go away the first week of September
I’m going with an endocrinologist monitoring it and following progress etc

How much do you weigh? What’s your BMI? How old are you?

DustyMaiden · Today 17:31

Depends how much you weigh now. You won't go from 20 stone to 8 stone in 3 months

Crunchymum · Today 17:33

Starting what injections?

Mounjaro? Wegovy?

How much weight do you want / need to lose?

I assume given this is being done under an endocrinologist you have diabetes? (Or some other underlying condition)

I think it’s doable! I gained 20kg in pregnancy and now 3 months I’m only a few kg above pre pregnancy weight and I haven’t really exercised! So I say it’s not impossible at all especially with injection

I would say you could get to about 11 stone by September

I don’t think it works that quickly.

Yes.

Irrespective of your starting weight, diet, exercise, medical conditions age or lifestyle you will have a BMI of 18 by September and a size eight in Zara clothes.

I’m basing this on a friend of mine who went from a size 10 to a size 8 in three months while training for a triathlon.

Your bmi is not 48? I'm confused

I assume poster is aged 48 and her BMI is 29?

Larrythecatforpm · Today 17:36

You’ll be slimmer, not slim. Be realistic you still need to put the work in.

ItsOnlyHobnobs · Today 17:36

When posting, it’s useful if you flesh your communication out a little.

Are you 48 years old with a bmi of 29?

If you are sticking to a calorie deficit I would expect to be losing around 1 or 2 lbs a week.

Just to add I've never used on injections this is what i can lose in 3 months with strict dieting. I don't know how the injections work

Oh, then no, you won’t be.

VickyEadie · Today 17:37

Must be a private endocrinologist if your BMI is 29?

youalright · Today 17:38

Are you 2ft tall

Getmystuffsorted · Today 17:38

Good luck

Your bmi is not 48? I'm confused

My age is 48, bmi 28/29

You could be 1 to 1.5 stone lighter. To protect your bones and muscle mass you need to exercise. The WLI just stops hunger/addiction. The rest is the method that people deny, eat less/move more, that's working. Or don't move, but that stores up health issues.

Similar to me when I started and age
I've lost 1 stone 5lbs in 5 months, part of the time was on wegovy.
