Imdunfer · 25/05/2026 21:03

Really? She lived with this guy and didn't know? She had a camper van parked on the drive and didn't know he stole the money to buy it?

I don't buy it.

Ok but they were obtained by dishonest means so she could still be tried.

She didn"t buy them though, and might have thought he used his own cash?

skiprun · 30/05/2026 22:30

The sturge knew. Course she did. 😂 And I’m an SNP voter.

Cost per use it's basically a Bic Biro, it's in a lot of pics. Very economical.

LaliqueSaltGrinder · 30/05/2026 22:43

Was this the “clicky pen” often referred to in the covid press conference skits by Janey Godley?

I am sure the interview with laura kuenssberg will go down just as well for you as the former HRH Prince Andrew's interview went.

He didn't cry though, so maybe more crying will help you @RealFeminist . Thoughts and prayers.

Thiswasanescapeplan · 30/05/2026 22:50

Ohhh start a support group @RealFeminist

"I got hit by the 'Berg" matching merch tees, coasters, secret handshake etc..

Obviously don't need a slogan ballpoint, pens are covered.

You’ll be fine, unless you’ve ever been to a Pizza Express restaurant or Pete forgot to order you a job lot of Sure Maximum Strength from Amazon.

Also I always enjoy the breaking of the silences so a silence here and there just means another breaking of silence to look forward to 😆

Aye, of course…is that you Nicola? 😂

OvernightBloats · 31/05/2026 06:43

Sturgeon is tearful about being given a pendant necklace from Murrell?! We can see through this pathetic performance trying to get sympathy.

She is feeling very, very sorry for herself and using all the manipulative tactics to deny responsibility. But, she has chosen to cry about a pendant necklace! It shows how materialistic she really is.

None of the items were stolen, why do you think the police said they were finished interviewing her?

Given that the story currently presented to the media doesn’t make sense, I don’t think anyone can say what has gone on.

Awww, poor wee lass. I'd call her failure of governance and oversight enough of a crime to warrant what she's going through. She's very unwise trying to make herself out a victim here, there's nearly half a million of SNP members money missing and it went missing on her watch with plenty of alarm bells ringing.

I am happy to accept that the Sturgeon Murrells had a very odd marriage and that in her personal life she believed what she wanted to believe.

I’m not happy to accept that the SNP depreciated an asset in their accounts every year even though nobody knew where it was. That suggests either a cover up or financial negligence, which then takes us back to the indyref2 money.

nicepotoftea · 31/05/2026 08:18

I think Murrell left his job in 2023, but the camper van was still on the balance sheet in 2024.

Edited

Exactly that kind of thing. And the depreciation on a £125,000 vehicle is a sizeable sum, you can't miss it and the auditors would have been asking awkward questions about where it was. But we know she shut those awkward questions down.

I don't know what she thinks she will achieve here by paying the victim, it's just making people think even worse of her, if that was possible.

Watching Nicola's denials .. I had a strong sense of Paula Vennells (Post Office). They got paid a huge amount for the ability to not know anything.

I am expanding my Scottish lexicon, thanks to this thread.

JustMyView13 · 31/05/2026 09:20

What I despise about her comments, is she talks about women taking the blame for the crimes of men. But this absolutely isn’t what’s happening here. She was the leader of an organisation where money was embezzled. It happened on her watch. Any CEO of any company, any gender, would find themselves quickly fired by the board, and under intense scrutiny, if they presided over a company in which this happened. Let alone if the person doing it was the CEO’s spouse.
