This Sturgeon story has a long way to run and her defence of ignorance is wearing thin.

She could be tried under Scots law for the crime of Reset - basically being in possession of stolen goods and having knowledge of them. This is why she keeps denying it so vehemently despite it seeming comically impossible.

But as the leader of the SNP, she signed off on the accounts. Plus the evidence of the camper van, her wearing stolen items and the list of items itself. A decent prosecution lawyer would rip her to shreds.

Let’s hope we see Sturgeon in the dock soon. She’s literally swindled the nation and at the same time put two fingers up to us all the while castigated other people.

Have just caught up with last night's Have I Got News For You - It was an absolute masterclass in taking the piss out of the whole situation. There were some frankly shocking details about what was actually stolen, even showing photos of Nicola using some of the items (the £700 bag, the Montblanc pen... you couldn't make it up!).
Surely she can't wriggle out of this?! They must be absolutely loathing the scrutiny and the fact that everyone is openly laughing at them now.
Personally, I have zero sympathy. The media has been pussyfooting around them for years, so this feels like a long time coming. Total schadenfreude!

If you look on the Scottish daily express website they have a complete list of goods bought with the stolen money. It was not A Montblanc pen, it was several.

Ok but they were obtained by dishonest means so she could still be tried.
